I know right?! I think it holds 1st place in the list of most brutal bars ever on Freshy Kanal's battles. It's effective on it's own, but even more so when you know the context. (Spoilers) Eleven's mother was adamant about getting her daughter back from the scientists who took her, so they Lobotomised her to make her forget about Eleven, as well as just about everything else. Even when Eleven was finally reunited with her mother, she did not fully recognise her own daughter.

"Yeah Danny Devito is like D&D, a cellar without buyers" is an amazing line. Danny Devito played Matilda's dad and directed the film Matilda. His initials spell DD, thus D&D referring to his initials as well as the dungeons and dragons games the stranger things kids played in their cellar. Will was missing, so for them, D&D was a cellar without Will Byers. Danny's character in Matilda sold cars, and a cellar without Byers sounds exactly like a seller without buyers. I don’t know if this is intentional or not but- I notice how Eleven shows mercy in her first verse, in which she was her s1 self, which was much more frightened and traumatized. But then in the second verse, she is in her s3 self whom is much more self-confident and brave, which reflects her stronger disses and insults. I love this because the whole battle is entirely in character for her. Same with Matilda. Unlike Eleven, she immediately fought back in her movie/book, which shows in this battle by her going all-out instantly.

It has been so long since I first heard this Rap Battle. And to be completely honest, I now like it even more. Everything about this project is just amazing in every way. Flow is essentially how everything goes together rhythm/musically wise Bars are generally just well written or smart lines Disses are lines that are used to insult your opponent, they frequently overlap with bars (at least in well written battles) And rapping is just the general skill of the VA at making everything mentioned above sound well and clean in rap form Hope this helps, if anyone has anything else to add feel free to do so lol
