Honestly, I actually enjoy this version a lot more. Gives it a nice darker twist. I don't understand why so many people get upset over covers because they try something different. Just open up your mind and have a nonbiased opinion of the music instead of comparing it to the original.

I feel the original is much more darker than this version. The original has an atmosphere of tension none of the covers have even come close to having. This is much better than HIM's version though. HIM raped that song hard and mercilessly. I was disgusted.

It's my impression that people often think of covers as an attempt at improving the original, instead of as a reinterpretation to tribute the original. It's a compliment, not a competition.
