@rhaibi126 жыл бұрын
Ty Hender I think that’s part of the charm of this album, the songs aren’t really that generic. There’s some straight rippers that would have been at home on Come Clarity and a lot of the stuff is very outside of their normal wheelhouse with some old in flames flare. I think that was part of the problem with Battles... a lot of the album was just “new” In Flames by the numbers. It’s nice to see they’re willing and comfortable reaching out in two extreme directions on one album.

The solo starts at 3:53 and turns into the leading melody. The lyrics of the chorus are overlayed. It's quite technical. Some metalcore bands use this very often. I'm one of those fans that is pretty flexible, i don't succumb to the belief that a band has to put out 10 albums that all sound like their very first. A band goes through changes and matures and the sound usually does too. I'm perfectly fine with that and i love when it's done so well that you really love all era's of a bands music. I own every one of In Flame's albums and even though I enjoy every album, the last few have just never had that power to pull me back to them like their older albums. However, this album and specifically this song is so powerful and does give me goosebumps. i will be coming back to this album many times over and get's me pumped to see one of my favorite bands sort of rekindle that magic. If this is their last album ever, what a finale if i have to say so myself.

**LYRICS** Don't ever let them use you They will bring you to your knees I'll try to lead you for awhile But every time I talk to you You're too afraid to see Open your eyes (Breathe in life) Open your eyes (Breathe in, breathe out) Oh I, I can see the light Stay with me Away from the darkest of nights Stay with me Stay with me (Stay with me) Stay with me (Stay with me) I don't know if you are ready You should see where I have been I don't know if you are ready I don't know where to begin Open your eyes (Breathe in life) Open your eyes (Breathe in, breathe out) Open your eyes (Breathe in life) Open your eyes (Breathe in, breathe out) Stay with me Stay with me Stay with me Stay with me Stay with me Stay with me Stay with me Stay with me Stay with me Stay with me Stay with me Stay with me Stay with me Stay with me Stay with me Stay with me Stay with me

They really put all their heart on this I didn't know the band nor the song, didn't listened to the lyrics (my shame) 'cause I was doing something else but then, ended up leaving a comment because of the goosebump and tears I had. That is Powerful

In Flames is the complete band in my opinion. Dosent matter if you´re in the mood of listening to relaxed ballads or heavy ass songs with awsome riffage and harsh vocals, In Flames can be the option in both matters. That´s what i like about this band, they can do it all!

Man this just takes me back to the very first time I heard In Flames' acoustic pieces and ballods. Still In Flames, after all these years. Still empowering but haunting. Yes.

By far their best "soft" track ever. In Flames are still a band that can change their sound many, many times, but within 10 seconds if I hear a song by them without even knowing it's them I'll be able to say "That's definitely In Flames." - and I think it's great they still have that identity. I've lost count of the amount of times I leave my 10k spotify playlist on shuffle and I'm like "Who the fuck is that? Oh it's Silverstein"

I like how the best track on this record, for me, is the softest. I mean, I get excited and hyped when those Gothenburg riffs kick in for some of the tracks, and Anders belts it, but this is a great fucking song.

This song man. Phew. Leave it to Inflames to come out with some killer shit that rips right into your soul and screams at you, in the most beautifully melodic way possible.
