Yeah, I was just about to type that after 15 years this may be their best song, at least in my opinion, it's absolutely phenomenal...
@blindsoul79159 жыл бұрын
+The Frenching Fry It came across as good but after listening to the whole thing I realized it lacks something in terms of depth. This video doesn't help- the scenery is awkward, or dull at best. Featuremania here to stay, it seems... Another cliché to cut straight in through. The lyrics look like something I would conjure up over a night too lighthearted - disjointed, and soulless somehow. If you read them, you realize that it's all about "was", not what he in fact "is" - probably this is why our author's message does not emerge clearly enough, unless you want to cite a lack of skill. Don't know about you, but I would scrap it. This type of music lacks perforation to me.
@FrenchingFry9 жыл бұрын
+Encephalych Dementium that's your opinion. I love it because it started out solemn and depressing. But when the main chorus starts and the scene with the band surrounded by the lights, it protracted a feeling of hope and rebirth. Then the seen with Maria Brink speaking kind of describes their "tough love" (I couldn't think of a better way to word that) I just feel like this song is kind of papa roach's recovery from his depression in a way.
@blindsoul79159 жыл бұрын
+The Frenching Fry I am glad to hear that atleast someone could appreciate it. I like it when people open up and try to describe why they feel; makes me able to respect rather than revolt against the opinion. Too much of what we say is meaningless these days...

Im not here to tell people how to live, but us older peeps, know alcohol addiction is. Papa Roach was a band a lot of us grew up on since their first album. "Flying away to outer space, i float away but you're my gravity" Someone in their life stopped him from depression. It doesnt sound like it relates to the younger viewers, but the older viewers, we're just tired of this worlds shit. You don't help us, I bet Chester felt the same pressure. Think about things, dont make everyone hate the world more, we support individualism, we just dont tolerate lies.

Reading all of these negative comments about PR disappoints me. I hate when fans dislike the newer sounds and compare it to their older music. If a band had the same sound as they did ten years ago, I bet you would get bored of it, and still be complaining. Bands will evolve into a new sound over time.

This is like a metal version of "love the way you lie" and I'm loving it. You can hear the pain and raw emotion in her voice, and it makes the song so beautiful. The singing into the lightbulb reminds me of Paramore's "Ignorance" video

Lyrics: I was there on the day truth died Blood on my hands throw 'em up in the sky I was the number one sinner, no less My life was a lie, and my wish was a death I fell in love with the ways of the world Money, the fame, the booze, the girls But I couldn't stay faithful, if I've tried I turned in to a devil, you could see it in my eyes I blacked out, told everything I ever did I couldn't take all the lies I was living with I broke your heart, woke up the next day My bags outside, yelling, "Get the hell away! You're not a husband, not a father, just a pig And you can't never change all the things that you did!" That's when I knew it, it wouldn't last You never get away, when you're running from the past I will fly into outer space I float away, but you're my gravity I will die to love another day We rise again and lose our gravity I'm a broken man, I'm full of sin I'm sick of all this hell that I'm living in And I can't escape it, this is how it feels When you try to numb the pain with a thousand pills You tore me down, wished that I was dead Said you wanna sleep alone in another bed But when I push away, you only pull me closer It's only over when we both wanna say it's over I gotta change this is not who I am I wanna start over wanna try this again You're everything I need, everything I'm not So pull the trigger, give me one more shot I will fly into outer space I float away, but you're my gravity I will die to love another day We rise again and lose our gravity You love me, you hate me, you kiss me, you break me You lifted me up just to watch as you broke me You promised me, looked me straight in the eyes No matter what you say, I don't know truth from the lies I helped you up, like I always do I forgave you for your sins and I carried you through them No matter how hard we fought, we always knew You will bleed for me, and I will bleed for you Fly into outer space I float away, but you're my gravity Die to love another day We rise again and lose our gravity I will fly into outer space I float away, but you're my gravity I will die to love another day We rise again and lose our gravity I will fly into outer space I float away, but you're my gravity I will die to love another day We rise again and lose our gravity Baby, we can float away

those hating on her don't understand what it takes to sing in her tone of voice and you def don't understand what music she makes
@eisgeist3007 жыл бұрын
Bullshit, the appreciation of music is subjective. I think she sounds like shit. To say I don't understand her music is spot on. I generally don't listen to music that isn't music.
@squirrelfrnd3337 жыл бұрын
Then why are you here listening to the song? Move on to a genre you like and stfu
