For real this app is so impressive. It's crazy what you can do. It's like Yakback on steroids but you can make whole orchestrations just using your voice or whatever samples you want. So easy to use and also has a lot of depth under the simple looking UI.

Yea so I've been using this app for a couple months and youtube just decided to say "someone liked your comment" on this video so update. Yea still loving this app and using it regularly. I made some beats with it, exported sample packs (though I'm still trying to figure out if I am exporting correctly because it seems like the modifications I made in app didn't transfer to the Zip files I sent), I have composed songs on here, recorded ideas on the fly, got a fairly firm grasp of the concepts that in things like Ableton for a newcomer seem overwhelming much in the way of advanced Photoshop. Anyways I think this is a fantastic on the go and at home creation tool to have on hand. One thing I'd really appreciate is being able to change the themes or have multiple options as occasionally the standard reddish theme can be a tad boring and I like to change themes on everything. Also with exporting songs I've composed it's carried over all my compositions correctly including those from performance mode. There is a remarkably feature dense file menu features list in this deceptively simple sampler. Still recommend it 100% and it came recommended by a friend of mine who is a popular lofi hip hop producer so I've been happy with this app and its been affixed to my home screen to get out quick ideas and experiment with loops and sound concepts at the moment I think of it.

@@deldia You're right - but that's very impressive, given this is only about 1/20th of the price. Crazy to think that there was no way you could have carried around a device with this capability in your pocket (short of something like an SP-303) even 15 years ago.

What an amazing piece of software and it's intuitive design is just incredible. Apple hasn't design something so elegant and simple in a while like this, it's almost like Ableton in a stripped down version. Bought this on Android and having a ton of fun! As s guy who learned sampling on an Ensoniq EPS (I still have two!) , this is what I have been dreaming of for decades. Do you know how much an EPS weighs?! Don't let me down Koala! I paid $500 in 1989 for an EPS. $5 IN 2022 for this app!

Loving this app so far. One thing I'd like to see if possible is when you are in sequence mode, can you go into a step sequence mode to play around with the drums and samples if they are off instead of undoing them.

this feature has been implemented in the meantime: double tapping a sequence brings up a piano roll! note: this feature comes with the samurai mode IAP ($3.99 at the time of writing this). also included are two more useful functions: timestretch and auto-chop.

I just bought this. This is INSANELY FAST and FUN. You're a genius. The whole "hold pad as long as you want to sample to" with the mic or input of your device... wow. That's FAST. Why can't everything be this fast? Perfection. I never buy apps, but wow. Seriously. Great work, and I so look forward to following everything you do. Btw, with the latest update, Clear Note is gone, and it's only Undo, on the Sequence page... is there any way to possibly hold a pad to erase it, as a Sequence plays? love this app so far!! I have a couple suggestions: Would you consider adding a playhead on the trim screen? It would be especially helpful with longer samples. Speaking of longer samples, it would be nice if we could have some kind of “extract selection to new pad” feature...and a chop feature to distribute one long sample amongst however many pads the user chooses. One shot is now in there, quantise has been in there from the beginning - if you tap the bpm it should reveal a menu with quantisation and swing controls

I also have the KO-33, which is awesome BUT doesn't have the chromatic scales which makes it a pain for melodies. Plus, other issues... So far this is dope and $90 cheaper... What the hell? Where has this been hiding? This just shows how ill informed and out of the loop (no pun intended) I am when it comes to what's available for creators. You wouldn't believe the things I have done and used trying to get the same functionality this app provides. Multiple sound recorder apps on multiple smartphones all laid out in my desk.. Even a freakin cassette tape recorder has found its way in my old arsenal. I just cleared my desk off. It looks so empty with only my Samsung s22 ultra and your app laying here. Maybe I'll get a bonsai tree and a candle to take up some space.. I'm rambling sorry. Awesome app!!! Thank you

Great vid thanks…. I’m Trying to find the maximum sample length… ie can I record a 3 minute track in one shot and then be able to add live effects or sounds when playing live… many thanks , apologies if this is a daft question ,I’m a novice.

You should be able to do that no problem - the max sample length is difficult to define because it depends on your device but it’s over 15 minutes for even a $25 phone from the supermarket

Thus is one if not the best sampler apps on the market for IOS. I'm not sure if it is on android. I really wish it was an AUV3 so that I could use my other plugin effects in it. I also would love to see a precount for recording. The option should be there. Otherwise I love everything else about it.

1. Yes, you can change length of a sequence in bars (it’s currently 4/4 only) 2. You can’t directly edit the steps of each sequence - you can clear all the bits played on a specific pad but not like a piano roll or anything. This is a design decision 3. It has Ableton link on iOS, not on android yet but coming soon

Simply a fantastic app. It would be amazing if you would seperate the effects in two groups. Effects that are typical on hold, like compressor, delay, reverb and fx you want to jam with, stutter,gate,comb etc. Now its all on hold or not on hold. Or let the user decide which effects should have a hold or tap hold behaviour. Also Midi CC for the pitch, volume and effects would be awesome. Or some extra parameters to change the effect properties. Just Dreaming. Keep up the amazing work!!
