Elgato Facecam MK.2 Comparison vs $1000 camera 📸 Must Watch!

So after a commentary, question how I encoded my video I decided to run a full comparison of Elgato Facecam MK.2 versus my Nikon Z 30. In this video, there's no bullshit and no talking well except for the intro of course. This is just a one on one comparison specs listed below. In my personal opinion, the face cam just holds up very well for a 1080P WebCam.

Hey Matsu, nice comparison some suggestions for your next video. Try to keep the Cameras at the same position, changing the angle that much really gives a different perception. Try to add the information a bit higher on the frame since the youtube timeline overlays it. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the feedback. In a prior video I set all cameras in the same position/angle and also displaced the mirrorless back to show the same viewing angle. In this scenario I kept both mounted at the same distance above a monitor. This was to demonstrate the advantage of the webcam because against a traditional 24mm lens, the webcam gets a bigger viewing angle. Also the advantage of window/natural light was given to the mirrorless. This was to increase the disadvantage of the webcam in hopes to prove its fight. Text was set for mobile device viewing but I can see what you mean for those who watch via desktop.

Great video. Do you think the mark 2 is better than the pro to stream at 1080? I dont want the 4k. Thanks!

I know that Twitch is still tinkering with 4k streams in the near future, however for someone who is primarily streaming, the Mk2 at 1080p will easily suffice for the next few years. Might be better to save money on the camera and invest in better lighting. Lighting is always king IMO.

Seems do me the mirror less didn't win. Should try a nikon z9 if you want to really upgrade. Jk lol don't do that the elgato is fine. A lil tuning and it shoukd perform bester then I seen. This video fr though probobly the final straw... I'm getting a MK.2 for no reason in particular. I don't even need it but it seems to be a nifty piece of hardware. Maybe ill have to start streaming and showing off how mad I get when I die in arena breakout. Maybe ill start breaking things for the funnies when I fail. Haha. Or tear my hear out till I'm bald, spaz out in anger because, that's what the people wanna see, right?

I ordered a second hand Mk.2 (its out of stock in my country), i also found a facecam pro with 33% more price, i cannot made a decision, i will probably stream with 1080p resolutıon but would ıt better to buy facecam pro and record 1080p on it, i will also probably be in a low light room, light disturbs me alot, i will use philips hue lightstrip behind G9 Odessey
