Definitely worth it! This notebook is a must have! I Love the white paper, blank cover, 52 gsm TRP, stitch binding, enough pages to last without worry, great cardboard out sleeve... Perfect. Elia Note knows what's good.

Yay more people are reviewing this elia note book! I’m happy to see my local Malaysia product is going to places 😁

The Hippo Noto is "beefier" also because it uses the heavier 68gsm TRP. The Elia Note looks great - very similar to the Nanami Paper Seven Seas notebooks, which I love. The ruling on the lined notebook is smaller (6mm vs. Seven Seas 7mm) and the paper is ivory (closest to white) rather than the cream TRP in the Seven Seas notebooks. I'll definitely give this a look - thanks for your review!

Reminds me of the Seven Seas Nanami Writer notebook, with more pages though. I’ll have to look into this company. I do like having a lined journal. It is good to have options.

Can you please do a review on the hippo noto notebook?

I love it that there are more TMR notebooks now than there used to be. I wish more companies would use 68gsm TRP. And I would love to find a square grid a6 with 68gsm. Closest approach is my beloved Taroko Design Enigma in a6 (and a5) but even that one only comes in dot grid and blank.

Barbara West I think more A6 squares grid TMR options would be great!!

@@dianeandbrad529 Maybe we should start a write-in campaign! But it's the 68gsm that is really scarce in smaller sizes.

Is there any paper that works with a Sharpie except for cardstock? Looks like a great notebook and I love TRP.

I love snow! (Maybe a good thing, since I live in North Dakota.) Interesting notebook. I've used one or two smaller notebooks with this paper, never one this large. Tempting!

I wish I picked this up over the nanami notebook I purchased awhile back. The paper is great buttttt the lines are damn near invisible and I’m not looking to write in a dot or blank notebook. I like seeing the lines so my writing remains straight and even. Gonna def pick this up.

Thanks Kerry for your review. I am wondering how does Elia Notebook stack up against the A5 Leuchtturm notebooks? Many Thanks!

I much prefer Elia. Paper is MUCH more reliable. Tad bit more ghosting due to the thinness of it but doesn’t feather as much as L

52 gsm sounds very thin. Most notebooks are 80 gsm.
@PensandTea4 жыл бұрын
With Tomoe River, the gsm rule doesn’t really apply in the typical way hahaha. It is thin so you will see some ghosting but it never feathers like “typical” paper would at that gsm
