Exactly! Elias says, "You can't be here voluntarily" and Lari says, "I am." But earlier in the episode, Lari's father says, "Remember our deal. You said you would try this" and Lari says, "And after that I can do what I want." So, yes, Lari is here 'voluntarily' inasmuch as he's doing it to try and appease his father one last time and hopefully show him that he is, irrefutably, gay. But, this is a soap, so we *know* what the writers will do, and that is draw it out for maximum drama! AARGH!

Everyone breaks up in this serie. It has been that way since 1999, but i think they will probably get together and break up a couple of times before it's really over. Im glad it turned out this way,things might get a little more interesting, especially if Lari hooks up with that lesbian girl.

Why couldn't Lari just say to Elias,"I promised my dad that I will finish camp and there are people around that will tell him you have visited so can't be with you now but just wait for me I will soon be free". Elias would have probably understood but soaps...gotta create drama

Miss.finland do you have any idea what the writers are planning for our boys in the long run ? Like are the supposed to end up tougher in the end ? I think if they don't, it will make everyone really upset and mad because of how much we have put into loving this story line and how long they have dragged it out. It think it would be stupid to have them not be a couple in the end, people just love them to much and to much has happened in their story.

The writing of Elias as a character is getting thinner. Earlier, he was a brave boy at school to fight bullies, also responsible young man helping friend out. Now, this character is just about Lari. As if he is not that much interested in anything else. Not proper time was given even on developing his father son relationship with Sebastian, especially after the injury of faija. Now Elias becomes an angry, sulky married wife type. One can lost in love, but don't lost as yourself!

I can´t understand it! How can a father do things like such a camp to his own child? Parents have to love her child, in every way they are! In case of Lari I would tell Elias about the promise of his father. Perhaps than he could understand his opinion...

I agree -- this is a low point and confusing. What the hell -- Lari in one breath gives us the impression that he just going to go through the motions to please his father and then he tells Elias he's OK with being there!? The writers are clearly playing with us -- but I don't get why. As someone suggested Lari can just tell Elias to lay low until he gets out -- but he doesn't. I don't get it at all. It does not make sense.

Lari has agreed to do his time at this stupid camp. At the end he expects to be able to say, "I'm still gay. Now it's your turn to honor our agreement." Problem is Ikka will probably renege. What then? This storyline is definitely at a low point.

I hope that in the end Lari and Elias will end up together and happy, and im sure everybody hates Ilkka, the fact that he is just so obsessed with "curing" Lari just makes my blood boil. Hopefully Lari won't force himself back into the closet only to emerge a few months later begging for Elias after he has moved on, and in a soap opera who knows............

Why is everyone so hard on Lari? It is obvious they are in the middle of their conversation. Maybe in the next episode Lari will tell Elias that he is playing along. He will complete his time at the camp and go home to tell his dad he is and will always be gay. But, this is a soap, so who knows what the writers will do.

Remember when Lari grabbed elias to hide him at crazy camp? Lari did not grab elias' hand but his wrist or lower arm… Sorry, they are supposed to be boyfriends who've had sex multiple times… Any seasoned actor playing the lari role would have grabbed Elias' hand,,, very weak
