It seems like everyone has been on this great show at some point in time. Like almost the entire cast of the Wire has had some kind of role on this show at some point in time or another, but also a lot of famous actors (usually before they were famous), like Robin Williams, Steve Buscemi, Jake Gyllenhaal, and many others.

The fact that I had 11-13 years when it aired in my country, the fact that It was the first of its kind I watched or what??.. It's a TV show, and a very good one at that. So his behaviour is written into a script. We know something of both Detective Bayliss and Detective Lewis from watching the show and we know how they've acted in previous episodes. The scene plays out as it does so as Bayliss' behaviour elicits certain responses from the other characters in the scene and moves the story along. Their responses are also written into the script and the hope is that the audience will become emotionally involved in the show and watch it every week. It worked it's magic on me. How 'bout you?
