Indeed and inside it too. As good as this show was, they only had so many situations they could use to make the show compelling so repeating some of the same elements was inevitable. I love all the cops running into the line of fire with no cover and no clue how many shooters or where they were. A guy was just blown away while wearing a vest. Great show in the bigger picture though. One of the best of all time.
@billt85042 жыл бұрын
You beat me to it. When you watch the series over 12 seasons you miss that. When you binge watch it you noticed quite a few people getting shot outside the station door. Also, you notice then end up reusing a lot of those little scene separators over and over.

I might be wrong but the serial killer aspect of the story may be replicated from David Berkowitz capture, by Bill Clark the real life 1st Grade Detective that helped produce and direct NYPD BLUE.

lol no it wasn't a high powered rifle......just shitty body armor that is only rated for pistol rounds and not even every one.....big enough hand gun would have blown right through the soft armor. You need plates like in the Military if you wana stop a rifle round bigger than a .22
@calanon534 Жыл бұрын
@@Shifty51991 You are correct, sir! Given that this was 1995, I would personally have elected to use a Ruger Mini-14 in .223 Remington, with a nice 3x fixed scope. Plenty of magnification for across the street shooting. Given the shooter's accuracy, it looks like they used irons, or they're a really bad shot with a scope.

I never saw this Episode. Who was the killer of this guy. I assume the father arranged the Hit. Is that Correct?
@davegee752 жыл бұрын
Yes he arranged it in a support group he created for victims of violence. The killer was in the support group and also lost his daughter to the same killer.

The lights have to be off or lowered in the viewing room for the one-way mirror to work. The shade is a safeguard, e.g., when the door to the viewing room is open, the lights from the corridor would make it like normal see-through glass.
