I can remember being shocked when hearing Elijah's voice for the first time. Just assumed he was English because of Frodo's accent.

Hahaha! Seriously it's like hiring someone like Paris Hilton to be ambassador for American Culture. This culture if you're like 6 years old and in the early years of Primary (elementary) school.

mickobee I assume it's because England was most famously known as the British Empire. Also, "the British are coming" is lodged into the public mind. And now that Wales and Scotland are joined as Great Britain, it's hard to seperate them visually.

I have to take issue with his definition of british bulldog. The game he described was indeed Bulldog, however (at least the way I played it), BRITISH Bulldog was the same as bulldog, however the 'bulldog' had to rugby tackle the runner to the ground, as opposed to simply 'catching' them
