My "meditation" is to simply just let things happen for now 23 minutes. I just sit outside (sometimes inside also but outside is better) and just let things happen as they happen, no resistance, even to thoughts that arise (which stop when there's awareness). Sometimes there are birds, rabbits, deer, foxes, frogs, crickets, etc. vehicles, neighbours, dogs, my wife, friends, etc. It's fascinating to see how the world changes. I still can get lost in a train of thought though, i.e., becoming thought identified. This is when there is forgetting. But the moment there is awareness of thoughts, they stop. Nonaware thinking appears to be needed to forget. I hope I can achieve the clarity you have one day, but maybe this is the seeking behaviour that needs to stop. Who knows, it will sort itself out in its own way, doesn't seem like I have any control over it. Enjoyed your videos immensely.

It’s the mind that wants to get rid of the suffering not the observer. The observer is the observer, awareness. It’s the mind that wants to get Enlightened. And that’s impossible. The ego-mind can’t experience being the observer. A friend of mine has been doing TM, Transcendental Meditation, for over 50 years. She did the Gurdjief work for many years. She’s a Tibetan Buddhist. She’s also a Taoist. And she’s a serious student of the Bhagavad-Gita. She’s the Minister at the Unity Church in her city. She teaches A Course in Miracles. And she’s very depressed and always has been. She’s very cerebral, totally in her head. She thinks too much. She, her mind, is still thinking of Enlightenment as something she’s going to achieve someday. All of these learnings from different religions and spiritual paths have never gone beyond the cerebral level. She has no experience of peace, no experience of being the observer. Her mind is identified with being a great spiritual seeker. That’s how cunning the ego-mind is.

pain and suffering come...they always come... There is no simple form, no effortlessness, no thoughts that create thoughtlessness, there is acceptance and understanding, compassion and love and the work of finding peace over and over each and every time you lose it as if you never found it before. Life will always challenge you, disturb you, confront you at the level you have achieved with and adversary worthy of your power's knowledge and strength. I have aged, i am old, soon I will reach for the void.... but remember me when your 70 young one save me for when you are grey and post me into the moment of that time with whatever may be with the comment you feel to be most appropriate in the medium of its time... you will know then if this was wisdom or foolishness.

Speaking about the unspeakable is fun, but don’t get trapped in understanding. For example the meaning of effortless. I guess we could call it flow, but it is in the feeling of effortless and experience of effortless we can know the truth. A good question to ask oneself is what is it that wants the effortless?, and why is effortless the direction I want to go? Beautiful words spoken.

One book I can recommend to you is _Méditations Métaphysiques_ from René Descartes, _Meditations on First Philosophy_ in English. I read it when I was younger. What you talk about here and in your other video with the same title is basically Descartes' "Cogito Ergo Sum". The concept of consciousness. Descartes will go a little further, and affirm that consciousness is meshed in to the body and the mind, because afterall we still have trajectory and material existence in life, but through the concept of consciousness he demonstrates the immortality of the soul and the existence of God. The whole things is 6 chapters long, not that long of a read, but dense. I like to remind people of the philosophical roots of the reflections on consciousness, because it gives some more structure to disscussions on this subject. One more thing before I go, in the other video you mention your grandmother's backpain, I still want to warn about what Teal Swan calls spiritual bypassing for people who just got introduced to this subject. Sometimes people will use excessive mediation and detachment as a form of dissociation from the world, which is unhealthy. We should use mediation to become more of a part of the world, not less. Some people might say, I suffer, but it doesn't matter, because nothing exists, meanwhile, (emotional) pain is probably one of the most real experiences one can have. Spot the error. What you say about embracing thoughts however, goes in the right direction. Here, you even mention the "shadow side", I don't know if that was an intentional reference to Carl Jung or not, but Jungian psychology does speak of *integration*, the fact of pulling the painful thoughts and emotions to you, to make them a part of your existence, that way you move *THROUGH* it and do not push it away. That is the way to heal, to presence, to peace. As Descartes says, we are body, mind AND soul. Discovering consciousness is important, because indeed too many people get lost in the abstractions and the illusions of everyday life, but we are still physical beings and are here on earth for a reason, so it is important to embrace that as well. Our experience at the base is mainly consciousness, and if you still remember your childhood, you will probablly remember already just being, your example with feeling the hand is a good way of illustrating that, and some people, as they get older, do loose sight of that, because they get distracted by the irrelevant things in life, so reminding people of consciounsness is important, but do not loose sight of the physical elements of life as well, since it is our physical body that holds on to pain. The body affects our consciousness. That's why practices like EFT or TRE, who free the body of pain and tension, get us closer to being, presence, flow states, being in the moment, whatever you want to call it. What you say about embracing thoughts goes in that right direction. In conclusion, if you are aware of consciousness, you will indeed get less caught up in the tides of life, but not because they will stop existing (which some people can be lead to believe by the fancy phrase "life or I is an illusion"), but because you will learn how to ride those waves and tides, and not fight them, almost like your under the surface. You don't need to do anything specific to move into that state, or rather, you shouldn't, if you indeed let your thoughts happen, feel your pain and move through the wounds you've endured, presence is A RESULT of that. It isn't a state we should chase. And when we are in that state, we're not aware of it, so theorizing on consciousness I've always found is an obstacle of consciousness. It's a natural state, and if you heal the things that take you out of it, you will remain in presence much more naturally. Hope this helps, Greetings.

When i did the "effortless" saying as u did, i just got this sense that i could sit in that effortlessness and everything would take care of itself. For a layman it is so confusing ..Can anyone tell me who is god ? Where is he located in our body? Who is the soul and where is it located ? Who is the higher self ! And where is this located? Where is the mind? Which region? Is mind, soul, god all one? Who is the ego? Where is its exact location ? What is he doing beteen these people? Are they all friends? Does it have an identity? Or is it a part of the things listed above? Now...tell me who is sending the positive and negative thoughts? Why is it so negative most of the time? From where is it coming from ? What is the purpose of sending these negative thoughts? Is god aware of our negative thoughts? Why does he not helping us ? Why do these thought have consequences? Are there satan inside us? Where is he? Is he causing mental illnesses or other entities causing it? Does the thought we send , bypass the soul, god, higher self, mind and come back to us? They say soul is located in the forehead region? How does he look like? Is he the observer? Is he trapped in our body ? Is he sitting with god or is he the god? What is he observing daily? Can he observe our body ? What is the higher self's role here? Do they interact with each other? Are all these different entities? Can the soul sense our body pains.. head ache, fever etc? When we feel sad, can the soul sense it? If we are powerful, why is it not helping us ? Are all these really guiding us from morn to night? .Is that called intuition? Are these sending us images in the form of dreams ? What is the magnetic field? During mental illnessses and physical illnesses, why are they not able to help us,if they are powerful? Please help us...we all layman have these questions. Can you explain it in the form if a movie, a big balloon or any object. There are thousands of videos ,but not a single video has these answers for a layman.please please make a video for beginners who are very much interested to know about ourselves. What did you see during enlightenment? What were your feelings? Did it scare you? How many days did you exoerience this bliss? How did others look at you ? Were there any changes in you? Did you look normal to them? Were they normal to you? Were you detached? What is the present situation after that exper ience? Have you become fearless? Does future not bother you like us? Do you have a feeling that certainly every moment from today wil always l be good and you have total control on your life as you have witnessed the supreme. Kindly share all your experiences and please answer our questions like you answer to kids.

@@ascendor.ascendor Yes, the true self can never been known or felt as an object or feeling. This is stated in the very first verse of the Advaita text called Drig Drisya Viveka (discrimination between the Seer and the Seen). Whatever you can feel or know, must be an object, either subtle or physical, and therefore cannot be the TRUE subjective witness (true self). But even coming to know ourselves as the pure subjective witness is not the end of realisation, it is really just the start. Many people, being mislead by neoadvaita teachers, wrongly conclude that the atma (true Self) and God are one and the same thing. But they are not. To properly understand the difference between the individual self (jivatma), Brahman, Paramatma, and ultimately Bhagavan (the personal God who is the source of jivatama, Brahman and Paramatma), you should to study Srila Jiva Goswami's Sat Sandarbhas.

So real life any moment... You simply exist. Do not engage or disengage. Example: You will notice a sound outside your body, in that moment you hear it, next moment your breeding might catch your attention so you make notice of it, next moment you may hear another sound or feeling or notice that, then a movement of your body happens so observe it for moment until something else appears... And just be. Don't try or not try. It is effortless being in any situation, continuously. Moment after moment stuff happens and you just are. Writing this takes incredible effort compared to you simply being which is effortless. All things outside and inside are like waves formed on the ocean. You are the ocean so be ocean and simply allow those waves to happen and to perish. If you try to stop the wave, it will become stronger. If you try be an ocean another wave will be formed. Hope this will help you.

Meditation means a way of living, not exercise. But for this, you have to prepare the basement(mind). For this, you need efforts. You have a site, so start watching everything as a habit. This is pure effort. What you are talking about is not for beginners. The person "arrived home" (enlightenment state). In that state, there is no duality, and your default mode is always conscious. Effortless, and you remain conscious 24x7. Oneness is your state. To reach this home, you have to go through different stages and paths. This is a pathless path, and you have to suffer alone. It will teach and guide you to attain destiny, and that depends on your condition. All the best to your You tube channel..❤

Thank you for your comment. I have meditated for a long time myself, and I still love meditation. These deep samadhi states are ones you would never want to lose, but they too are subject to impermanence, and I have observed myself clinging to them. This is not what I want to teach, but rather to point out that, like anything else, it can become something that stands in the way. Whoever needs meditation in their life right now will do it despite my words, because that's how life orchestrates itself. But it seems that what I teach is the total surrender and arrival. All the best.❤️

@@ascendor.ascendor cool, thanks also this is my favorite video of yours by far I have always liked walking in the park/woods to 'meditate" but I always was lead down the wrong path and was made to believe medication took effort. Again thanks!!!

Even the gurus living this way collect fees, have accountants and people to do the tedious work. These practices can help maintain balance in our lives but ultimately you will have to make life choices- even the most basic such as should I take the next breath and why? It is rhen that you discover that drowning in the absolute provides no basis for dealing with life, its hard choices and compromises. The only other alternative is sitting in the cave and eschewing life. And if that is the goal, why not just suicide? Then you can be in the absolute instantly.

Shouldn't the title be 'Allow all thoughts immediately" instead of 'Eliminate all thoughts immediately'? For how long have you been free of idle thoughts? Minutes, hours, days?

Who? The ego can't be free if thoughts cause it's just a thought. My real self was always free

You (pure consciousness, atma, true self) are part of Krishna's para shakti (superior energy), whereas your body (whihc is made of the 5 material elements), mind, intellect and ego, etc are part of Krishna's apara shakti (inferior energy). The former (para shakti) is called 'para' which means 'superior' because it is eternal, unchanging and conscious. And the latter (apara shakti) is called 'apara', which means 'inferior' , because it is transient, always changing and does not have inherent consciousness. Both these energies, which account for both your true self (atma) and your mind and body (non self) are energies of Bhagavan Sri Krishna. So in this sense, you belong to Krishna, as He is your source in every respect. This is explained in verses 4 and 5 of the 7th chapter of the Bhagavad Gita.

Not going to explain or make anyone believe these words about this (62 years) Avatars story- 3.5 years ago, something "suddenly" happened that this mind could not understand - "I" turned my body, lying in bed, to my (former) wife and answered her question, Sjonny, is something wrong, why are you weeping? I don't know, there's just so much peace inside me! (Indescribable of course for the mind) Does that mean I was Enlightened? ohhhh NO! :-)...well? ...What knows? Never the less, I've been "studying- learning" since then- That's why your (-ASCENDOR-) newfound "theories-teachings" (honest truths actually) resonate with "me" - That will say, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DENIAL OF ANYTHING! ...not even so called (asshole🙂) EGO! ITS ALL CREATION- BE Aware
