Elinchrom ELC 500 - Review

Good review. I'm glad to feel I'm not really missing out on much sticking with BRX, except some convenience and refinement. An LED modelling light that you will never break or have to replace is honestly a pretty big plus though.

Excellent, thank you. Would be nice to have a battery-powered Elinchrom monolight though, to compliment the ELB/Quadras I run around with. I am more of a 'field' person, obviously. :)

Good review but you didn't cover camera sync and the transmitter module. Im sure it all works - but the devil is always in the detail. I wonder how the Elinchrom solution stacks up to brands like Godox that seem to be big on innovation - but not sure about their reliability. Subscribed!

Can you shoot high speed sync with these? Can I shoot at 1/1000th of a second shutter speed? Thanks!

Im wondering where can i put my deep umbrella. Usually i can fit it on the handle of my dlite rx 4.

Hey Guy. There is an umbrella mount just above the flash tube. Check out 1:55 and you'll see it.
