I think Penix elevated the stats for his offensive teammates. WR have more production, and O-linemen gave up fewer sacks and pressures. This is because Penix gets rid of the ball faster than all the other QBs and throws the ball downfield.

I am watching this at the completion of the draft and I think Robert and Jonathan should hand Elliot the GM title now. He brings so much institutional knowledge and experience to the job from around the league and yet still has an inside connection to the team. I thought he did a great job with the draft, understanding that we won’t really know for a couple years but given the information he had and the teams biggest needs, I thought he hit a home run.

1st round talent available at the top of the 2nd including top notch LTs - let’s get a 3rd round WR. Good receivers available at the top of the 3rd round - get a 5th round RT to move to LT. wE wErE tArGeTiNg tHeM Patriots let Belichik take all the blame and yet here we are. Jacobi Meyers had 800 yards and 6 TD’s before he left. Is Polk’s ceiling higher than that? From what I hear it’s not. So we still don’t have that player who frightens defenses. Sometimes you need to take a swing and draft talent. We are always reaching!

@Gabbagool345 , based on the opinion of many professionals. Polk was mocked for middle/Backend 2nd (Please let me know who projected him as 1st rd talent), and the lineman was projected more 4th with some 5th round. All three top 3 rd picks CAN pan out in the NFL, I just don't know if they will. Polk is my favorite to actually pan out, but I think he's more similar the the comparison I've heard, Joshua Palmer. Wallace's big negative is footwork and being out finessed, so we automatically we can just put him at LT and watch him get roasted by fast speed rushers..

Polk is not weaponizing the offense. Possession receiver. Please stop gaslighting. Other than Maye. Draft is a bust as of this time. Feels like Bills drafts. Still can't draft a true #1. Seems all so familiar. Speed and agility aversion with the Patriots. Ridiculous rationalizing. Another year of leading us down the yellow brick road.
