Ray Fittipaldo on Cam Sutton potentially returning to Pittsburgh:
“I think (bringing back Sutton) is a really good possibility. Now, I think you guys know the Steelers will take their time with this and they’ll let the legal process play out somewhat. They will let the Commissioner’s office do their investigation and then they’ll get a feel for what the punishment might be, if there is any, and then they’ll probably make that signing, I think, in June or July.”

Jalen is way better at every aspect of being a running back. Could you imagine what Jalen could do with Najee's workload. If Najee is cool with being rb2, then keep him. But if Jalen isn't the starter next year, I will finally question Mike and Omar's decision making.

Once Khan and Tomlin met Sutton it's a no brainer that he is being resigned. With Deonte Jackson and JPJ, Darius Rush, Cory Trice, Ryan Watts all between 6"'2" and 6'3" and 200lbs + with 4.4 speed with the exception of Watts who is 4.5. This is a classic Tomlin's CB Room. There's a plethora of depth, the Players need to Play!

I am sooooooo SICK OF IT BEING RUMORED that the Steelers are interested in trading Najee. Why? He's ran for 1000 yards for all 3 of his years with a bad line that became average as of yesterday. Jaylen runs faster and he's more explosive, but he's had resting periods with Najee in the mox and vice-versa. Warren running solo and being the main guy with NO NAJEE, and only the other RB back-ups would be a recipe for disaster. Najee is JUST NOW hitting his prime! Wait to see what he does with this improved O-LINE. We already made a mistake letting DJ GO, trading Dotson to SF and GREENE away by nit playing them properly at their natural positions.

It doesn’t matter who your wideouts are when you have a great QB. As long as the route running is good and they can catch the ball, we’re good. We have enough receivers to make it work. One or two will be outstanding with the play of Russell Wilson. Trading Diontae wasn’t a mistake. It’s all about team play and staff saw a reason for change. Let’s go Steelers! I’m not a fan of bringing Sutton back unless he comes back playing like 2022 Cam. I understand that there aren’t too many options, and he of course has familiarity with the Steelers, but he wasn’t great last year for Detroit giving up a 112 ratio, with almost 300 yards given up after catch. Maybe it’s just a case of he didn’t fit the system, but if it’s his play well. We already know that teams didn’t wanna target their guys covered by JPjr last year, for good reason. So if they’re gonna be throwing to Sutton more when he’s on the downswing in his career, then it’s gonna be glaringly bad for us. Of course though. If he comes back like 2022 Sutton we may end up with the best CB duo in the league. Something tells me no though if he’s allegedly attacking his girl, biting her neck and stuff like he’s suffered one too many blows to the head in his career.
