👩‍💻I am coming in late to this game and am inthralled with the acting ability of Elizabeth Moss. I binged all 4 seasons in one week. All the while wondering who OfFred reminded of. Pondering on this fact I finally realized who I was reminded of, Maureen O'Hara. Maureen O'Hara could tell her audience what she was thinking and going to do through her eyes and facial expressions without saying 2 words. I am glad to see such depth in acting returning to the Golden Screen. Much love and peace. 🙋‍♀️🪔🌠🐞🥰🇺🇲🇬🇧

P.s., reread actual history about the rise of the Nazi regime, first they began experimentally executing mentally handicapped citizens and then they stirred up hatred mainly towards Jewish citizens, then Gypsys, Gays, and any kind, decent, people who sympathized or tried to help those persecuted, escape or hide. Sometimes theses heroic sympathizers happened to be Christians, Priests and Nuns. Many a “good Christian” either remained silent or were devoted Nazis as well as considered themselves as Christians. Those if us who support this show and book, may also be Christian or other religions, yet we do NOT want a Christian variety of Sharia law as is depicted in this book and show. The Puritans came here to America for religious freedom, yet they denied it to all others who didn’t believe as they did. Our Founding Fathers were wise and intelligent in installing separation of church and state in our Constitution. They were well aware of the very base nature of men who sought to control others in unwise and unkind ways.

I think Alexis Bledel has some kind of social anxiety issue. Or maybe its just when being interviewed , but she always looks sooooo terrified when theres a possibility she has to answer any kind of question. I gotta say, & please excuse my bad language, but she did a FanFuckinTastic job of playing June/Offred in the series! Elizabeth, you were so deserving of the Golden Globe, & more, I could cry tears of joy! You absolutely nailed the part! Blessed be sweet child & may the Lord open! Lmao Absolutely, just kidding! I meant it in a way, that more great acting roles come your way.. definitely not other people's babies! 😝 😝 😱 I remember seeing E. Mulu2, People act in movies because it's their job. That's why they are called actors, instead of dishwashers. Their job is to act. They sign a contract for their salary for the movie they are hired for and they play a character. Not sure what facts would support "they get a lot of money when that message resonates". Do you think they have a clause in their contract that say, "You get a bonus if this movie's message resonates???? Let's be truthful and logical.
@mulu2132
@mulu2132 7 жыл бұрын
Ell Ess i am truthful while you're simplifying out of your own limitations. You think just because someone offers you money you will lend your talent to their project? You get a contract upon agreeing, not before duh. And an agreement to be a part of a project comes with a slew of personal reasons. There is a reason why actors continue on to hold a variety of positions in the film industry. What motivates them to do that? They want to tell stories they care about, and stories all carry a message unless you live under a rock. You're probably stuck in 1920s film making :rolls eyes:
