Wow. I haven't played Elite in years, but man, I remember the first encounters with the Thargoids. All the research with Canonn, trying to figure out the mystery of the Barnacles, the hundreds of commanders who joined the search in Merope 5c... It was amazing! And also the sheer terror I felt when the first thargoids became aggressive, and how I did fight to distract them when other commanders just tried to escape, or the first time me and my mates managed to take one down with the first dumb anti-thargoid missiles we got. Man, that was amazing.

I played the game with VR headset and good quality earphones in combination with a Buttkicker2 underneath my chair for extra bass. I'm telling you, sometimes I did almost shit myself xd

It's just how the cockpit for the Goids look sadly. No models or textures showing something flying those ships. Doubt we'll ever see it

Pleiades Cluster is a region the Thargoid frequent. If you want, you can FSS scan for non-human signals and supercruise to that location. Upon exiting you may come under attack, you may not.
