Elite Dangerous | Beginning Passenger Missions | The Hauler

Hello Commanders,
I have been doing many passenger missions lately, and wanted to make a video on getting started with the hauler. In this video I go over loadout and do a quick passenger run.

I don't know what's more humorous; that fact that a game called Elite Dangerous let's you play as passenger carrier, or the fact that your ship has a massive skull on while acting as a passenger ship

I dont know what kind of stuff you are doing but I have only had that problem once, and it was because of my 500k bounty.

@@necrovarius225 i run tradeloops in a t9. i am a space trucker. and apparently somebody liked to have 712 units of polymers. then there's the bastards that jack your fds and go "hey want to do a thing for x amount of void opals?" and when you say no thank you they tend to respond with "okay you die now". now if it was an honest to goodness pirate i wouldn't be so miffed but i only met one of those and he was gracious enough to only stop killing me after i jettisoned some vats of space lube or polymers or whatever and hit the stations' no fire zone. if you mean the community in the forums however, yes they are a nice bunch. also the fuel rats. they are nice too. they never shot anything at me other than fuel limpets.

Aight, time to become a passenger vessel. Was hauling cargo with a hauler between dahan and eranin making only like 15,000 a jump. Time to upgrade Edit: got a dolphin and now I'm making 600000 an hour. Let's gooooo

Not a bad guide but stick to two economy cabins to start and a 2 C jump drive for a starter passanger ship. If you can afford a 2A jump drive you can afford a better ship for these missions. Other than that well done I think.

I think I would wait until I could afford a Cobra Mk III and use that because it has a size 4 frame shift drive. The size 2 of the Hauler is just too dinky. You can also fit a size 4 passenger cabin in the Cobra.

I'm starting with ED and this is the first ship I bought, and I love it. Why buy it? Why not? Is sooo cheap! And collecting ships is part of the fun. The only thing I kind of hate is that when you look backwards in VR inside the cockpit, you can see holow meshes of the landing gear going inside (they are not there when you're flying)... Bad artist design there!

Necrovarius Thanks, but I’ve been trying to find high tech stations and I can’t see if they are high tech? Do you have any tips for finding high tech stations? If I go to Map and try to select a filter I can’t find anything.

Look for systems that are high tech. They should provide the cabins you need.

I don't remember if the game lets you cash in the mission if you don't have cargo.

Yes, certain passengers are wanted, it details it before you take the mission.

I sent know what else to tell you. Find a high tech system. Go to a station which has outfitting services and its they should have it. As long as the station is high tech.
