Welcome back one and all to another video of Elite Dangerous. In this video I will cover how to do Assassination Missions as well as Pirate Hunting Missions. We are using the Cobra MK III with a full pirate loadout.

Cobra 3 is my favorite ship in the game. Mine boosts 602, has 2300 hull and is a silent runner... nothin quite like it.

Duke 705 what do u mean is silent runner. I know there is silent running but is there a way to have low signal for avoiding detection.

If you get a mission, like a wing mission with 63 pirate kill quota, look for resource sites. A "6 day mission" will take a couple of hours

Well it’s 2022 and I have a asp explorer and a vulture. I rarely use the vulture because it only has 2 hard points but however I may go for it if my targets are more powerful. But I use my Asp explorer for everything because of cargo space and multiple hard points.

You should get grade 5 thermal resistance on that reactive armour.

I get the fighting stuff. How the hell do you read the scanner stuff ? It lets me scan, but never says who or what they are.

You made that look so easy. I've been chasing bitches all over these damn systems because I can never get close enough to grab them out of FSD. I'm starting to get irritated with the game altogether

Same as firing your weapons. But you have to assign it to a firegroup.

Raging Tout funny, i just bought thw vulture. Great ship for bounty hunting and the way i have it set up mass laser volleys hardly scratch my paint! (Not really but its a dps tank)

Why do they go so slow for you? For me they just speed away at full speed and then FSD ... can't keep up

Dunno, I would have to see what you are doing. Normally my ship speed and weapons don't let then get away.

@@necrovarius225 about the same as you do in my Viper. When I interdict them they just circle around me for a bit and then speed away at full speed

That happened me too. The problem is that they are pirates, and pirates look for cargo, so the circle your ship looking at you a few seconds, at that exact moment they scan your cargo hold. If they find nothing they leave and put no fight against you because they get no reward for fighting, just a bounty on their head. So next time if you interdict a pirate look in your communication panel on the upper left side there you can read what they want at the moment. 1. Interdict and always scan them with your normal scanner in super cruise otherwise you get a fine. 2. After a successful interdiction you can either wait and the pirate leaves the place or you attack sooner or later so the pirate doesn't know that you have nothing in your cargo hold and will engage you. I hope that helps

Is there a way to kill npcs without losing relations with local and neighboring factions? I want to try hunting but I don't want to be enemies with half the galaxy if possible.

Minor factions dont matter. If you do these missions, someone will not like it, just how it works.

@@necrovarius225 thanks for the response, I've gotten this game on sale and there's so much to soak in, even after 2 months of play lol Additional questions; 1.) can I circumvent superpower loss by going to independent systems? 2.) Is there a way to read up on independent factions stance? Like if they are "good" or "bad"? Maybe light reading on thier history? All I can see is their government. 2.a) Is their a government for "gangs" or shady parties?

At the time, I don't think Engines were engineered. I know fsd was.
