I'm very happy to see your videos pop into my feed again after the long hiatus. Welcome back. The imperial fighter is amazing to fly and is the smallest hit box compared to what the barbarians offer. One trick I learned from way too many hours in a Gelid-F is that you can keep your pips 2 eng/4 wep (or split between both). If you maintain a full shield cap, and you get hit enough to drop your shields, you then switch to 4 sys/2 eng and evade until your shields are back. The shields will be back at full within seconds and you can then resume your attack. Until the stars fade, CMDR.

@@CMDRNaQan sorry for the late reply, I am a bit airheaded sometimes and never notice my notifications. Yes, you cool off a bit whilst doing your evasions. I fly Gelid F, so fixed beams, it does get hot but I found it more effective than the plasma for damage.

If you put the weapons on different firing slots you can have almost infinite shots, If I remember correctly you start firing both when one is half way, that way you can survive with 1.5 pips into wep

I would love if the devs will enhance the SLFs mechanic, like modification, engineering, and a little boost. You would see much more multicrew on the battlefield.

@@Maximus-ke5wm It’s still very active, link to our inara in description. As for the Velites, it has evolved to the Cataphractii, dedicated PvP group within the squadron, and also coordinates with other Imperial squadrons.

Do you use a dead zone or mouse sensitivity curve, or is it just linear

WS (Thrust forward/back) AD (Lateral Thrust side) , QR Roll, C (thrust down) Spacebar (thrust up) I roll to align enemy ship vertical above the reticule, since pitching is faster. Slow down or speeding up will increase my pitch rate as needed
