I cant find any evidence of anyone else doing this, so i hereby claim this as a first.
Is it faster than relogging at a single relic with an srv? slightly yes, and its way less active

Well the CG is over and so is the usefulness of this guide, rip o7. still works ofc. I forgor to add it in the video but make sure to add every other material that drops at guardian sites to your ignore list so you only need 4 limpets per run. Also bring a DSS Addendum 2: the reason to say over 800-830m is two fold, it makes the angle the limpets fly back at steep enough to reduce the chance they hit something, and allows you to instantly relog since youre out of the "hostile" zone that gives a 15 second timer

I would add: Do bring an SRV so you can drive around to add all the materials and guardian artefacts to the ignore list. It's not impossible to get low enough to target/ignore the artefacts from the ship but you can't target the other mats and I did have limpets going for power cell mats as well (and usually getting stuck) even when staying above 820m height.

yeah it should work fine with a cutter, havent tried it myself but someone had it working in a conda so i dont think ship size is a factor

Great Guide! What I would like to know, how would you "unignore" the other guardian goods, in case we get again a CG where you can trade in all guardian goods?

cheers! you would simply repeat the same process, ignored items will still show up in the contacts panel when theyre near, just toggle them back on

@Blaze10523 Do you have maybe a DSS on your ship to see all guardian stuff, while in your ship? Because I dont, maybe that could also be a reason, why I cant see any guardian stuff.

@@Frenzy80 ye i have one but the DSS will only help you target the actual site from orbit, it doesnt affect anything with materials. to be able to target ground mats you need to get really close to them, a good shout is just land on the mats with gear up, then you should be able to target and ignore them

Flying with the landing gear up didnt help either, but I know how to solve this now, without flying to the surface. When the limpets collects unwanted stuff, but you want to collect them later again, then keep 2 of each you want to ignore for now. Abandon one. That way the limpets will ignore these. When you are done with collecting the relics you want, fly into space (otherwise they will fall to the ground and you cant find them again) jettison the last one you kept of the ignored cargo and then you can uncheck them to not be ignored anymore. Problem solved :) In my case I was lucky to have still each one of them on my carrier and unchecked it from the ignore list that way. Or you can buy them somewhere und do the same. @@Blaze10523

What is happening here precisely? Dumbfire missiles proximity to the tower triggers them coming up from the ground? Or I don't actually see the towers, so maybe the relics are released by the explosion and pop up on the ground?

The latter exactly, the relics always exist a few meters underground, the splash from the missiles is enough to break them off the tower even though the tower hasnt raised, the game seems to have a failsafe for items under the map so they pop up after 30 ish seconds. The limiting factor with this method is how open and flat the area around the towers is, i tried some other sites but the limpets would die 4/5 times. this site layout seems to be the best, it also has a 5th relic spawn however limpets just freeze and die 10m off the ground in that area.

@@Blaze10523 So I ended up going for a few relics as the regular relics CG isn't that high with the amounts needed for 75% and I got 92 relics out of 100 limpets in a little under 2 hours... pretty good. I did let limpets go for a 2nd try if the 1st one blows up or tried to pick up guardian power cells otherwise I would have had less relics out of the 100, so I wasn't going for fastest relics p/hour. Also this system has an outpost with repair/re-arm services which is very nice as I have those turned off on my carrier atm.

it's quite fun and also it is possible farming another guardian resources in that way. Also i use REMOTE RELEASE FLAK LAUNCHER for farming resources like Tellurium and another. xD🤣
