Thank you i replaced a valve on a pt99 from cybergun after watching your video and that fixed the leak. Awesome!!!

I live in Turkey where most Airsoft items aren't sold and instead of shipping this kit from overseas i just used a scissor and opened it ever so slightly to fit the two notches and screwed it out that way. Great video.

I like that you 'suggest', or 'hint' at the notion: ... if you DON'T have mechanical aptitude, then buy a new valve or magazine. This will save hours of needless frustration and dollar$.

Your post here is very valuable! I have found that the valve CANNOT seal in the first place. The little bitty O-ring's counterbore is too deep for the O-ring's wall thickness (cross section). Secondly, regarding the white Nylon (TM) piece: The metal poppet-to-Nylon interface seal is inherently leaky. Other CO2 valves, from other manufacturers, have O-rings at that same poppet interface. This CO2 valve design is woefully deficient in 2 areas: the little bitty O-ring/counterbore fit and the (inherently leaky) poppet-to-Nylon seal. All of this is 'fixable' through a MINOR REDESIGN ... rectangular-cross-section-gasket (first issue) and an elastomeric seat or O-ring at the poppet location (second issue).

Hey this video helped a lot. I was wondering what other O-ring type problems I had to figure out, but that inner O-ring was pinched so it couldn't get a good seal. Thanks again for the help. :)

Great video. What kind of tool did you use to unscrew the valve from the magazine and what are the dimensions of the tool ?

nice video, please do a video on the full re assembly if it comes to it please :)) also only noting from the video but don't tighten the cartridge as much as that brakes the seal a lot easier, ive found looser is far better than tighter and makes mags last 10x longer :))

Thanks for the video! After changing this valve, the input valve and the black gasket at the top, my mag still leaks a bit after inserting a new co2 cartridge and it stops hissing after 30 seconds... I think I should replace the valve o-ring. Is there a particular way to do it or do I just have to remove the old one with some pliers and then insert the new one?

honestly the issue could be a dry O-ring in the valve seat. sometimes you just need to soak them in heavy silicone oil for a day or 2. if you use your pistol a lot, a drop of silicone oil on the tip of a C02 capsule every 3 months should keep it from drying out. preventative maintenance saves a lot of money and headaches

Fixing the mag with the repair kit is easy…but getting that fragging pin out and in is a sore thumb!
