Hub is a standard DT Swiss ratchet design hub, the patent has expired a while ago so a lot of companies have started using their in-house hubs with this design.

Thank you, sir. I was confused by the Drive Helix patent fight they are having. It uses a double-sided ratcheting system to provide a three-degree angle of engagement through a 120-tooth ratcheting system. I don't smoke crack pipe, however...

its not. EliteWHeels hub uses one spring only. It's kind of hybrid between DT classic ratchet and EXP

Funny how all the cycling frame and wheel reviews come out at the same time. Almost as if the company is requesting for customers to do the reviews. Or reviewers get their ideas from other reviewers.

I know, right? Except no one paid me 😂

Yeah, it's time you put down the crack pipe

How are they holing up? Are these improving your riding? I already watched you other video,

I just sold the Synapse with the wheelset, but with limited riding on the Edge, it is perceived by me to be more rigid (better power transfer) vs the puny stock aluminum wheelset. As far as aero benefit, I am not that hardcore to notice any difference! The hub is obnoxiously loud so it is very safe when riding around pedestrians or other cyclists 😅 Given the choice for future purchase though, I may go one level lower if building a budget bike, or spend that little extra for the Drive series.

Im thinking about buying me my first set of carbon wheels and i cant decide between the ent or the edge... Of course they are lighter but im not sure if that makes a big difference... What would you recommend me?

Honestly I’d prob go for ENT for bang for the buck or go all in and get the ceramic bearing Drive. The edge is close to Ent but far from the drive.
