26 vs 26.8 is quite a difference. Did you keep the device for further testing to see whether it's accurate enough?

I don't think so, I think it can only log to a file to be downloaded later.

I believe there is a version that will measure the humidity of the air along with temperature, but I don't thing it will measure humidity with a probe like it can with temperature.

Grayson Stillwell if you need and automatic mail alert for critical readings, you may need a wireless monitoring sensor, not simple logger

Yep, you can delete the data in the app.

You use the software to delete data and configure the device.

The remote sensor could be used in water. I'm not sure if it has any ratings, but it is stainless steel with epoxy to seal it up so I don't see why it wouldn't be waterproof. The actual data logger isn't waterproof at all though.
