Well, Andrew is a man that have a big heart - bless him. What I really want to see though is the renovation and refurbishment of Kingston's infrastructures namely: expanded drainage systems, local road maintenance & improvement. From I was a yute, Princess, Orange, Church & King Streets massively overfloods whenever there's heavy rainfall - ppl using handcarts to cross these streets. Also foul water over-flows is becoming a regular feature for the past couple of decades. Downtown Kingston side walks are crumbling and filthy - there haven't been any maintenance over the years - all of these things and more need very urgent attention, like immediately please.

One of them is Torre Caney, a residential tower that stands at 178 meters (584 feet) and has 42 floors. It was the tallest building in the Dominican Republic until 2011, when it was surpassed by Anacaona 27, another residential tower that reaches 182 meters (597 feet) and has 45 floors, however The Pinnacle will be the tallest building in the Caribbean, reaching 300 meters (984 feet) .

The upcoming "Torre K", also in Cuba, will have 45 floors. Dominican Republic's "Torre Anacaona 27" and "Torre Caney", both in Santo Domingo, have 42 floors each... @@EliteJamaica That is true. However, I am still talking about buildings that have almost twice the amount of floors. @the-development-scribbler9 ай бұрын
If resembling Miami is your biggest worry, then I am greatly concerned for you. Miami is one of the most modern and creative looking cities in the US that one would could only dream of visiting, so how is making Jamaica similar to that an issue? Miami also has many green areas within it, has one of the largest national parks in the US (the Everglades National Park) and has natural attractions to kill; so if you think Jamaica can't exist with modern and tall infrastructure alongside proper green areas and scenic views, then your idea of 'progress' isn't as progressive as you think.

Also, re-read the part where I said "if you think Jamaica can't exist with modern and tall infrastructure alongside proper green areas and scenic views" Literally being between two plates in a non-issue. Dominican Republic is located on the same plate (and is arguably more earthquake prone than Jamaica) and that hasn't stopped it from developing proper. Same as Puerto Rico. This is one of the biggest stretches for limited development I've ever heard.

Not because DR is jumping head way off mean we should be as stupid as them and make the same mistake.
