1:06 - I've seen several iPods with "Thank you from Jeep" engraved on the back that look just like that, except with that first line of text intact. Not sure why anyone would scratch out the "thank you from" text though.

Excellent video my friend. Beautiful collection, with a few items I've not seen before. I hope this video shows your customers and those who are simply interested in iPods, your true passion. Props to Cole as well for sure, loved the video.

that scratching out on that one iPod, that's actually decently common with people that engraved their name address etc, I was looking for a 32gb 3rd generation iPod touch for a little while and when I finally came across one in a lot, you could barely see that someone had scratched out their full name, address, and birthday. not surprised.

I've really been fixated on iPods lately. I have no idea why, but I loved watching the different models (since there were a million it seems). Right now I'm working on updating on iPod Video 80GB. It's pretty busted so most of the externals will be aftermarket, but I'm excited to make my dream machine.

Loved this, you're both really entertaining and I learned a lot from this video. It's fascinating to see the history of the iPods and their accessories and how they evolved. That Newsstand glitch is totally something we'd have done in high school haha. Are there any accessories for the 7th gen iPod Nano you could recommend? Subbed and looking forward to more videos 😄

Thanks for showing us your collection, Austin! was nice to see a friend of mine in this video, too! Cole is such a legendary hooman, I think i may have influenced his love for iPods at one point, because i showed him my collectio.. but please, don't quote me on that.. haha.. I've got 2 4th gens one mono, one photo, 1st gen nano, 2nd gen nano, iPod touch 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th, iPod 5g, custom, iPod 6th, and my photo iPod 4 has an iTalk on it. Can't wait to see episode 2 of this and whether Cole has stolen your channel and is sleeping on a bed of various apple devices lmao Stay Elite!

I'm not really a big fan of Apple, but i have to admit the iPod mini really is a fun little toy. Easy to open and you can basically get a compact flash card as a drop in replacement for the microdrive. Since microdrives were simply an later alternative to the expensive cf cards back then, it's no surprise they work well in this iPod. Rockbox running for about 12 hours isn't bad either. 128GB of storage and lots of lossless audio, that's really cool.
