FYI to all the comments saying we sounded "dead inside" I'm the girl who had the honor of portraying Eliza Hamilton, and during this workshop I was dealing with one of the worst colds of my life and still managed to deliver a decent performance. And if you think about it, Eliza had really been through hell, so she wouldn't be full of energy. Along with other things, her husband had an affair, she lost her oldest son and her husband and still managed to live a long and accomplished life. So when you say I sound dead inside I'm trying to convey the pain, suffering, and exhaustion I would think she was feeling.

Clearly, you do not possess much, if any vocal training. This girl did a phenomenal job, and for the record, I actually saw this whole show in person. Jealousy has many colors, and yours are very clear. It’s empty under the bridge, crawl back under.

I think you did a wonderful job, people saying otherwise don't know the strain of rehearsals, and performances. I'm surprised that you didn't try to get another person to preform if you had a cold is all... your performance was very good under those circumstances... just remember health is above everything... don't try to push yourself to do many performances in the future if your not healthy... You don't want to get more sick.

Eliza's voice is a bit too airy and high. Her voice is flat in parts which is hard to listen to and it clashes with other voices. The choir is singing over some of the people. Some people were singing not in rhythm. But dang, the guy who was singing washing(a)ton's part was smooth. Eliza's voice has good emotion in it which I love and her voice flows well in some parts. Her face expressions is sincere and just on point (instead of looking dead inside). It honestly needs a bit more work but they have potential.

Everyone who played their characters were unique and splendid and executed gracefully. Anyone who does this has talent that only Hamilton fans will understand. Even if you're not and just a person in love with history. You will find Alexander Hamilton an amazing figure as well in the history books. Though he was different from those bigger names like Napoleon, Adolf Hitler, Alexander the great.

I get having a cold can suck while singing. I hate having a cold in choir. But I still hear people sing better than her with colds. The emotions in her face worked though. I personally don’t see this song with Eliza grieving. I see Eliza having joy as she tells her husband’s story, as well as though of his friends. And even in Burn when she’s grieving and angry, it’s not flat. There’s build up. This version was okay, I certainly wouldn’t be able to do much better with a cold, but the girl playing Eliza needs to work on her ability to hold notes and not sound flat. A cold is no excuse to sound flat.

From the point of view of a director, you need to get the most out of these actors. They have potential, but the directing crew messed it up. It is completely portrayed wrong, and the best of these actors is not brought out through the characters. It didn’t feel like hamilton.
