Vanguard used to make some great cases for $200. They were hard cases with the outside wrapped in cloth and the inside was covered in foam. Had straps for your bow and spots for your arrows

for hybrid bow cases I like the Legend Everest, its $340, I can fit a whole weeks worth of clothes, my bow, a dozen arrows, broadheads, and my bino harness it comes with TSA zipper locks from the factory. For the money, it is hard to beat that SKB for a dedicated bow case though!

Best dam cases I’ve ever used are either the pelican vault or condition 1 rifle cases. Cheaper than any “bow” brand and you can get the double rifle case for your bow. I had a quad rollover with both cases strapped to them and they were one of the only things that survived. Hell contracting in country that’s all we used. If it’s good enough to protect multi million dollar sensors around a bunch of privets it will protect your bow/gun

Yeah I have the same case and I loveeee it man! And I’ve had the expensive rectangular skb and I always thought it was kinda not enough but this case it perfect you’ll never need another case

I’ve had a Bow Truk for 2 years now. I’ve flown with it no problem, two Gold Tip arrow tubes, a TRX 34 and my Phase 4 last year. A little snug for two bows, but it works and the layer between bows protect the strings and cables. The wheels make the difference in the airport or on the range. The 36 inch fits across the back of my full sized Bronco.

That SKB looks so sweet, will definitely be my next bow case when I need one for flying.

Try Shadowfoam for your bow,it's the same stuff mechanics use and is layered so you can cut out for your sight, scope, release ,pretty much anything at whatever depth you need it to be without affecting the strength of the foam, everything stays in place securely plus you can clearly see everything in your case,no more "thinking" you put something in when you hadn't

The SKB is a great case for the money. They sell out at our shop whenever we have them in stock. The Pelican is a bombproof beast that fits my Atlas with room to spare.

I agree with keeping your optics with you in your carry on. They're too easy for someone to steal out of a checked bag. I have the Pelican Vault V730 and have been happy with it. I cut the foam for my V3X 33. However, most of the time, I take the foam out and just pack clothing and gear around my bow or rifle while flying. It's been a do it all type case for me and I haven't felt the need to buy anything else.

This case is definitely nice, but I would also like your thoughts on the flambeau formula. I get compliments on mine all the time.

NEVER use TSA locks on your bow or firearm case. TSA locks allow anyone with the key to access your case. ALWAYS require TSA to inspect your case under your supervision. I’ve been burned twice by TSA. Once with a tampered with/intentionally busted scope on my grizzly hunt.

Is anyone else's video freezing at 12:56 then the Audio cuts out at 12:57? It is kinda like the video didn't render right on the export or something. Could just be me with a bad wifi connection but just thought i'd ask.

My sidebar mount on ss34 makes it stand up too tall and not fit. Any recommendations for how to make that fit so I don’t need to change angle on side bar mount every time? Maybe I can cut out a hole for the side bar mount to slot into. I have the skb case that mfjj is talking about in the start of the video

If U need a versatile bow case look at flambeau formula case, not the cleanest nicest looking but comes with a bag for gear or repair kits, arrow holders can easily customise to any bow, have had it for 3yrs, can leave Ur quiver on the bow,

Honestly piece of plastic is too expensive 300$. That case should be around 100$ that’s it. I bought Ravin R26 and I was looking for hard case and they are selling them for 350$. It’s insane how expensive it is.

What makes me want to barf ,is with Mathews ,when the Mathews trending people think that Mathews is the bow the be all to end all ,and their slogan, Catch us if you can, well and I'm not sorry about this opinion, the Mathews archery company never has been that and never will be, and I really don't give a bloody dam what industry market say about the facts, I have studied a lot of videos over time , and when I took notice of the world class of world competition, the world popularity of hoyt archery was enough to hold my interest, and with any of the engineers of any of the other companies, they have their own talents, there's negatives and positives, quality control will hopefully build a good bow, and then everything else is left up to individual archer, can that archery straight, can that person drive a straight line, some people can't hit the broadside of the barn, so in my opinionated book, archery tackle is just that physical tackle, but how well can that archer shoot a good pattern, and really the true bottom line the human is still human ,there's this thing called muscle memory, the mind and body will only get so close, no one is perfect, high scores are shot all the time, I will always carry favor for hoyt, pse, and bowtec, I could go on about more but I'll leave it at that, the biggest chess game in your mind is when you have that moment of release of that arrow, how much true control of your aim do you really have, good luck

You’re wrong and I am right. The flambeau is way better! It had gaskets all around it removes the use of foam to protect your bow and strings better. It has an internal storage pocket. I can keep my sight, quiver and stabilizer on and it has an arrow rack in the case. It’s also less than $300

If you put a gun inside your bow case, then you can put non-TSA locks on it, and ensure they DO NOT get into your case.
