Dan is one of the most genuine “Internet personalities” you’ll come across. What you see is what you get, all the time.

"One of those lurkers"😂 love that. It's true though man! Why would you not want to be subscribed to Elk Shape?!?! You'll miss all this great content and knowledge. Never met Dan but he seems genuinely down to earth and a good dude. I'm born and raised in Texas and absolutely love this place. The hunting is amazing. Literally has almost every diverse terrain and ecosystems from all over the US, all coupled in one state. Keep on keeping on bro, prayers for a successful surgery, speedy recovery, and God bless brother!

When you do these “shoot n chats”, they’re by far one of my favorite videos you put out. You should post these with each podcast guest that you have if weather allows it. It sort of reminds me of the “comedians in cars” sketch but for archery.

Awesome stuff. Videos like this keep me motivated. I’m not an elk hunter. Live in south Texas, but I try to train like I elk hunt.

Going to try to go to my first TAC this year in UTAH but it would be fun to shoot Montana as well. Learn from the pros! But only if Joel thumps me in the head with an arrow the entire round gotta get my shot better! 🤣

This was epic. My only complaint is that it was too short.

Assumption is the mother of all F ups. As a bowhunter that’s also a cyclist. 5’9, 165lbs. Look the part. I can’t tell you how many big guys I’ve chased on the bike just to eventually give up. Never doubt anyone.

I am 14 years old drawing a 65 LB Hoyt alpha x at 27 inches. I am looking to get new arrows, and have not decided to buy or build. What advice could you give me regarding spine, field point weight, and arrow weight. I am mainly target and whitetail hunting. I have been thinking about the Easton 5.0. Thank you so much

Dan, what's the little back-pocket indexed quiver you're running? I like that it's so small
@ElkShapeКүн бұрын
They're pretty slick, we are dropping those soon on the website!
@ddmirolli22 сағат бұрын
@@ElkShape awesome!!! If you haven't finalized already look at Tegris as a stiff, lightweight material to index in the pocket. Also flexible enough (and thin enough) to slip inside the waistband in case you want to have it be omni-positional. Could design a paddle style of Tegris and index inside the waistband with a 6" dropdown to the top of the pocket. Could then swing around anywhere on the waist to optimize position
