Ellen Greenberg former prosecutor suspects death was a homicide | Vargas Reports

Ellen Greenberg was found dead in 2011 with 20 stab wounds. Her death was initially ruled a homicide, then quickly reclassified as a suicide. NewsNation's Brian Entin spoke to the prosecutor assigned to Greenberg's case, Guy D'Andrea, who said there's no way it was a suicide. D'Andrea said the medical examiner agreed to change the cause of death, but then D'Andrea left the state attorney's office for private practice. The AG took over and determined the cause of death was suicide.

The evidence disputes that. Video shows she entered her apartment alone and alive. No one exited it. No evidence of anyone entering or exiting the windows. The door was dead bolted from the inside. If someone killed her they wouldn't have left the apartment unless they teleported out...

He's being protected by Shapiro. The Pathologist was a black guy who was utterly inept. He later found a job in Broward Cty in FL. That job change was likely via corruption to keep him as far as possible from Penn. Path says sent blood swaps for testing for other blood BUT NO Paperwork. NO proof of Dna testing can be produced. There are horrendous issues with the documentation .. Gavin FIsh has done a lot of work on this case.

I have followed this story on all true crime programs Her boyfriend murdered her and the police covered it up there’s no way you could stab yourself in the back like severing her spinal cord,10 stab wounds to her back,the stab wounds on the front of her body would have killed her straight away, no she was able to start stabbing her self in the back,this isn’t possible this poor young woman what she went threw ,then he says she’s fell on to a knife in this phone call not showing any emotion, then she had bruises may be he was being violent threw out there relationship but she told no one about it.hopefully her parents gets justice and this poor young woman can rest in peace

@lizroberts6615 -- This is my first time hearing this. You are correct, for supposedly being her boyfriend he lacked no emotion whatsoever. He couldn't get her zippered jacket off? Of course not! He probably beat on her, grabbed some knives and started throwing, she turned around to try to run and he threw a bunch more. Too bad he is a well to do legal person. They can go to jail too. His family is probably one of their top campaign contributors. Heaven forbid they would arrest him and lose their donation money.

I tried to kill myself two different times ---I just cut the main artery in my wrist---but my boyfriend put his hand over my wrist and held it tight and my daughter call the ambulance and I only lived about 1 mi from the hospital so by the grace of God I was saved. Another time I took over a hundred pills and my daughter woke up in the middle of the night show me on the bed and could not get me awake she went next door and call the ambulance I put my stomach for over 3 hours they thought I was gone but by the grace of God I'm still here I just turned 77 last week !! That just proves that if you want to kill yourself there's a lot easier ways than stabbing yourself in the back !! Ruling that as a suicide is totally insane !! They must know who did it and they're covering it up !!

Thanks for the report. The problem with any botched investigation is that once the evidence is lost, they can't build a case for proof beyond reasonable doubt. Even if they change the cause of death back to homicide, they can't bring back the evidence that is lost. I don't know much about this case. I heard one podcast cover this case, but I no longer put any faith in their coverage of anything. The timeline for the fiancé committing the murder wasn't perfect, but he has to remain the best suspect. The mechanical lock on her door would be difficult to move into place from outside, but people have demonstrated how it could be done. The fiancé might have known that trick. If someone killed her to scare him, that person might have known the trick. Josh Shapiro being dirty doesn't surprise me. I fear that she will never receive justice in the form of a conviction, but maybe they will learn enough to ruin the reputation of whomever murdered her.
