My baby girl had heart surgery at 3 days old, and had a stroke due to complications from the surgery. At 6 days old, she had brain surgery. After nearly 2 months in the hospital, we got to bring her home. She just turned 3 months old and she is doing really good! God bless Barbara and her beautiful parents!

My niece had the similar issue. She passed away at 7 months old. I dont know how is their baby right now. But I wish her all the best, good health all the way.

+speebyda sometimes god puts people through things to see how strong they are and if will turn to him for guidance, god does this all the time, im one of those babies, i was born with half a heart but thanks to my parents turning and looking to god for guidance, im healthy and i still have half a heart. Just because god puts people through things like that does not make him a prick

speebyda god is capable of many things and most of the time the reason why he takes people away is because he knows their future and it probably doesn't look so pretty. Im 100% sure god saved me

my oldest son who is now 11 was born three months premature he lived in the NICU for two and a half months it was very very hard every day going in there there was a baby who was he there getting the surgery or CPR or coded I saw so many families crying and I just knew that it could be my son one of those days and it scared me so bad being down there when babies didn't make it and then he got to move out of level 3 up to level 2 where he had his own room he spent about a month there he was so small for Halloween I brought a bed that was a pumpkin and he was a pumpkin for Halloween he came home just a couple days before Thanksgiving and everything's giving I remember but that is the first holiday my son ever had at home he's been healthy and he strives and he is so smart when he was four he had a little fatty tumor in his throat and had to get surgery which scared me because cancer runs in our family but it was benign and he just turned out to be the biggest blessing in my life. I was told I was sterile after that because I had to undergo a procedure when I found out I had uterine cancer after my first baby and I was only nineteen when I found out but somehow my fertility came back and me and my husband I have a 3 year old boy now so I have two boys that are both miracles. this story is so beautiful and I hope baby Barbara strived and met her milestones and is doing great now.

These kinds of stories really hit home for me. I was born with a rare heart condition called Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atricia and I got open heart surgery at 15 years old. I'm now 23 with a five month old daughter who has the same heart condition. She's expected to have the repair surgery between 8-12 months.

I don't know if you read the comments on your videos (especially one that is 5 years old!), but I would love to know how Barbara (not sure if I spelt it right) is doing? We lost our little girl, Lily, to a heart condition (she only had half a heart) 10 mins after she was born in 2011. The hardest thing I have ever been through. I LOVE hearing about babies that make it!

I understand what you are going through my younger brother was born with two holes in his heart one was 5mm and one was 7.5mm and my younger sister has a condition where her heart skips a beat and had a pacemaker put in when she was two and just this year had another operation to get it replaced I am so happy that all is well now good luck for the future xxx
