I remember my mom taking me to the Confessions Tour when I was like 12 and to this day it remains one of the most incredible, artistic, high energy, absolutely BADASS show I have EVER seen. Remind you, I've been to over a dozen festivals since and countless shows. The pop girls today are just funny in comparison. I can't think of anyone that is the same caliber as Madonna. She's a national treasure.

Great interview. Madonna's career has been a long ride and still going strong- she is older now and more serious about life and her friends. Great chemistry between Ellen and Madonna-she would never have agreed to come on the show if she did not regard Ellen highly.

Actually Madonna usually hints of an upcoming tour for months and then shortly before she starts touring she makes an announcement. I think we all figured that was what she would announce but we were excited to hear it be official-- from Madonna herself.

I just wondered. How come Madonna and Ellen haven´t hooked up? Both have the same age, lived thru the same epoques, then also have been challenged by a world full of men...
