I like it when a artist is just themselves on stage,not trying to do that annoying choreography dancing to where they have to lip sing ,and such ,cause they are so out of breath,or trying to sell with sex. Now that's the Ellie we all know and love! As an EG fan, I really tried to love "Burn". But, sorry... I just couldn't. Burn sounded too much like all the other songs on the radio. This one, however, is definitely Ellie territory. Love it!!

i really loved burn,just cause a song sounds similar to other pop songs doesn't mean its a bad thing. i look at music as a whole,and ellie really made burn her own and i found it extremely catchy!!

I don't know why but this song sounds so different live. I like the original version, but when she performs it live, I love it even more. She does not sing them in studio version. They are pitch corrected and sustained to that note. It’s very robotic sound in the studio version. Not like she couldn’t sang it but that’s how it was recorded.

Although I find it admirable that she's doing the song with her live voice (and some resonance) alone, this type of song really calls for some sort of backing track behind with her live voice. Especially at the parts where voice overlays itself in the studio version.

Her voice is kind of unique. It's very nasal and airy. And btw Ellie uses autotune from time to time as well, it's minimal though.

I don't think American are the only people who use auto tune, all music is enhanced in the studio. I even like Ellie Gouldings voice live because it is unique but sometimes she sounds too strange like not well prepared. It is not nasal at all....its airy.

Ellie has lack of breath control sometimes live (Shes quite energetic and hopes around on stage so that choud be a big deal) in the studio she can make mistakes, and then she fixes them, she resings it with freedom, no needs of woring on will it sound good the first time. it's not always audiotune, some people are in the category ''beter in the studio'' bc. they sound beter on trac, but it doesn't mean that they can't sing like that live, i hope you get it bc. i suck at explaining
