I seriously had headphones on while listening to your dad's story and I was laughing so hard everyone was staring at me. I am so glad that your dad was ok but it makes me think of my dad one time we didn't think his leg was hurting as bad as he said and we kind of left him and he fell in the floor and he was so upset at us. And he would tell stories just like that. We lost my dad 8 years ago so enjoy your time with yours precious memories

You guys are so dang cute! I just wanted to send out a friendly reminder(maybe pass along to your awesome sis!) winter coats can't be worn in car seats. It creates too much space and compresses during an accident causing the child to even fly out in some cases. An easy fix though! A good alternative is to put the jacket on backwards once they are buckled, or take a cozy blanket and put the jacket on before you get out of the car. Stay safe and warm xoxo -rainbow

Try teaching Jackson to turn around and slide off the couch on his belly feet first. We taught my daughter that when she first started to pull up on things and had no problems once she got the hang of it! I love the couch btw. We have a sectional and my husband claimed the best spot. We will have to get one like that some day!

Oh and may I add that when we got the sectional he did not connect the two pieces so the best spot where you can have your feet out in front of you is sagging now and uncomfortable. :/ we need a new couch badly.

Hearing your dads story made me feel terrible for him! It's definitely something to look back on & have a reflective chuckle, but when in the moment it can certainly be quite frightening. I suffer with acid / silent reflux, & I was recently diagnosed with a hiatus hernia. It's incredibly common which is something I didn't realise, but actually never bothers most people, but it can be incredibly uncomfortable. When I have flare ups nothing seems to settle it. I have certain triggers, like foods or drinks that are too citrusy, I can't drink carbonated drinks (sodas to you guys) & since I don't drink tea or coffee myself I stick to water which I'm happy to drink & have done for years. Anything heavy can really bring a flare up or pastry related too. It can be a pain in the bum when you're only 28, especially with the tummy swelling that ensues, but thank goodness for anti reflux prescription meds! I hope your father is feeling much better now - & managed to enjoy his hot dog this time ;) Please give him my best wishes! And doesn't Bonnie resemble your father, goodness, I hadn't realised fully before but she really is the spitting image of him! I can certainly see some of you & Jackson in him too, beautiful family resemblance :) Love the couch! I could just do with laying on that recliner xx

I have the same problems your dad has with food getting stuck and I had to go to my GI doctor and I had to get a endoscopy done and they went in a dilated my esophagus and now my food doesn't get stuck but for me I have to get that done like every 6-8 months cuz it tightens back up, so maybe if your dad has that problem still maybe talk to a GI doctor about it, it's a fast and easy procedure.
