He uses a high mix vibrato while singing very gently. Honestly, these notes hes hitting were very high for even his range so it wavers subtly cause his vocals chords are slightly ajar while hes doing the vibrato. U can try it by singing in a high voice (not falsetto) softly and try and do some vibrato. Youll get the same effect;with practice lol. But thats where the genius comes in from Elliot, he can take something that for most vocal coaches is considered a mistake or "not proper vocal technique" and make it beautiful and real sounding. He sure was a diamond in the rough.
