NOTE: At 2 am on Thursday, April 25th, Ellie got up to leave the nest, an egg stuck to her feathers and as she leaped up to the back branch the egg plopped off to the ground. Likely, it is the first egg that froze. As nature does, nothing is wasted, it will feed those living under the nest, and even the shell will feed the soil. A highlight video has been uploaded showing this.
