Thank you Greg Anderson, you are a god. Bought the MDV107 in the Pepsi bezel this week. Mine came with this exact stainless steel bracelet attached out of the factory instead of the rubber strap. Wanted to see how nato/leather straps would look on it. What's extremely annoying is taking this steel bracelet off seems impossible without a really narrow springbar tool. Tried with the tiny jewellers screwdriver and it just doesnt grip it at all, and there's no room for it to move either. This was my first purchase since I'm new to watches and now i gotta buy a watch toolkit already haha i wish they'd have made it easier. Your video was great help btw. Really helped with the links!

Hi, Greg. Thanks for you video! On my new mtd 1053 there are arrows and it looks like the same, but there is no identation near the arrows. There is a small indentation on the side of the band. I did a little detective work there. The stock Casio bracelet for the Duro is listed at Pacparts.com as Casio 91087068904 but it was out of stock for up to 3 weeks so I found another reference from a UK parts dealer. They had it listed as Part No:10391237. I looked for them on eBay using those numbers and I found someone in California who had that genuine Casio bracelet in stock.

ez8 I guess you could try Pacparts and you’d just have to wait a couple of extra weeks. You could also try the bracelet for the MTD-1079D. The pattern on the metal is a little different but it should fit... because I tried this Duro bracelet on an MTD-1079 and it fit.

Do you think it would be possible to take my 10 year old citizen Skyhawk band off of my Citizen Watch Repair Service Torrance Casio models I bought a Citizens Skyhawk about 10 years ago it has been nothing but trouble I’ve had to have it fixed four times they won’t hardly stand behind it they have help me out on some of the repair cost a little bit but I still had to pay a lot but now it looks like there’s something wrong with it again I bought that at a jewelry shop years ago and paid a lot for it and the repairs like I say have not been cheap right now the solar part in the digital part work it still keeps time and the date however the hands won’t sync up with the watch and some of the other indicators and stuff don’t match up or make sense I imagine the whole movement power sale and everything will need to be replaced again and I’m not even sure if I could still get parts for it because of its age it’s one of the older models WR 200 it’s a beautiful watch the last time they fixed it it cost so much money I basically was afraid to wear it so I kinda kept it in the window seal so it could charge and reset itself daily has its radio controlled and it still has malfunction about two years after its last repair I will probably never buy Citizen again but your Casio Duru really looks good they’re putting me in mind of a black they tutor or a Rolex submariner I need a big bed and I have a wrist it’s about 8 1/2 inches or so I had extra leg put in my Citizen Skyhawk band I hope I can use it for a watch like yours if not maybe I’ll find a big band somewhere that will fit,,,Are there different levels of this Casio watch pricewise or is the Duru basically all the same I like the blue it really looks good👍

The bracelet which was specifically meant for the Duro is now listed as “discontinued” at PacParts.com but there’s a bracelet for the MTD1079 there which should fit the Duro. The bracelet for the Duro is still available on eBay but some listing are likely to be Chinese copies. I saw one which specifically said it was the genuine Casio bracelet for $69 on eBay. If I had to buy one today I’d probably just get the MTD1069 bracelet from PacParts.com. www.pacparts.com/part.cfm?sku=91087162487

One must be a REAL HARD CORE Casio fan to put in the extra effort to use Casio bracelet... considering the quality of Casio bracelets 😳 Yes, it is a perfect match stylistically. But the hollow end links, folded links, pressed metal clasp with only two micro adjust positions... 😖 The video itself is very good : very detailed explanation and demonstration for the noobs 👍🏻

Spring bar pliers or perhaps should be called spring bar tweezers would be a better name. These allow you to compress both sides of the spring bar and then you can simply slide the bracelet end links up into the lugs then release the pliers off the sprinbar. there are many offerings for these on amazon.
