Elna Electronic - Fixing Motor Stuttering or not Going

This video shows the troubleshooting procedures to track down the issue with this little Elna Electronic TX sewing machine. The motor is stuttering and sometimes does not start again without a helping hand by turning the hand wheel.
Covers all electronic models of the Elna Lotus type machines as well as some general information that will apply to all sewing machines.

Nice description of how to figure out which component on the board was shot for certain, rather than just replacing without explaining the why’s! Elna’s are wonderfully serviceable!! I wish they continued that way of building and engineering sewing machines…. Lots of these great older machines are getting harder to find parts for. Hoping that 3D scanning and printing technology improves faster to be able to just get a new part printed and save these older machines.
