Thousands of electric battery breakthroughs have been made in the last hundred years. Elon Musk is the planets' current mass media spokesman for engineering technology. At this moment. This spokesman is summarizing the results of thousands of the world's best engineers. We are so lucky to have such a talented public representative.

I would like to see how to protect person inside a EV from radiation generated by the batteries and while charging? Currectly there is no shielding. The radiation is higher then a microwave oven while standing still.

DC batteries do not emit noticeable radiation. Hence they are direct current and there is no varying electromagnetic field. A microwave blasts out radiation to heat your food at the frequency of roughly 2.4 GHz. The power output of a battery is higher , but not radiation.

Antimony/ Sodium/ Manganese batteries. Safer, more efficient, cheaper, easily mined local minerals.

Why can't you use Americans for your engineering
@rohitgurung199421 күн бұрын
Dude he can. Only non American can't be a permanent employee of space x. If you Google it you'll find the reason too.

As an American Engineer, there are not enough specialized engineers in the areas of mathematics and control theory. Many of them do not seek out graduate degrees due to the expense. Additionally, there are a lot of almost artificial degrees that can be obtained remotely for the purpose of promotion. So you go in and get your four year degree and then you do get your masters in Engineering Management or other easy grad degree. I'm saying this as the only American Electrical Engineering TA when I went to school nearly 10 years ago. I can only assume it's gotten worse. I can also say that the students that did make it from overseas were top top caliber that had they lived here could have gone to MIT. They way smarter than the American students. It's our educational system and heros that have failed us.

They do, most of them are American, but not hiring the best cause they're foreign means foreigners get the best instead, and America ends up doing less and going slower!

BATTERY LIFE?? OR COST PER MILE! I WILL NOT BUY A NEW CAR, KNOWING I WILL NEED TO SPEND $3,000 IN A YEAR TO BUY A NEW BATTERY!!
@nicosmind321 күн бұрын
They can last at least 400,000 miles, and that's the tech now! And they've got a warranty up to 100,000 miles
