Well, I'm astonished at the fact that people still don't get how the algorythm works. It's pretty simple and clever, actually. If something is trending, the algorythm suggests videos with the same search tags, no matter the time of upload. Which actually makes perfect sense, because if, let's say, people are searching for the newest Terminator movie, they may be inclined to watch old clips from Schwarzenegger's movies or old interviews. Which increases the view time and clicks for older videos, that would otherwise be abandoned.

+High Gamer I'm glad you asked. But keep in mind my comments like most are a bit tongue in cheek, don't take it so literally. Elon is a rare human, and what he has chosen to do with his companies after selling PayPal is by business standards, pure insanity. Most would have walked away or invested in other companies to generate more profits. What he chose to do was tackle a massive energy and environmental issue, even after everyone who is anyone basically told him he's foolish and is being idealistic as opposed to realistic. Yet he poured his money into it anyways because he wanted to start a paradigm shift in transportation and a way of thinking. I could go on for a while but think of it this way. If you look at the top car companies on earth they all operate on the basis of "how do we make more money, and #uck the planet" yet they have way more money to spend than Elon does and could have easily spent R&D on electric vehicle technology. Burning oil in cars does damage no matter what anyone says it's a problem more so in other countries but they had no interest in mass producing EVs because it loses money and they've spent so much on internal combustion technology their investors would hang all the car execs if they tried to do what Elon did. Now they see people want it and are willing to buy it and yet they are still playing catch up. It's embarrassing to be honest and shows how greedy companies can be. Elon is the antithesis of a corporate executive in many ways, but he managed to achieve what everyone around him said was impossible. So that's part of the reason why it seems so many people are willing to suck his !ick...I assure you I have no interest in that, but if you spend some time reading and watching documentaries about his start you will find a new type of respect for human kind you probably didn't know you could feel. Give it a shot and report back to me. ;)

Well i also thought he was a great man after i saw his presentation about powerwall, but i don't know if i wanted to work for him, as he rationalized out his decade long private assistant secretary and also divorced from his wife, heared he is very rational and cold-hearted; a bit like me before my first gf i also was more like a robot striving for perfection, not knowing well about other peoples feelings. But don't misunderstand me, it's still good someone like him is there as he shows people what's possible with current technology if you are prepared to take the risk of loosing everything, i just have horrorvisions if i worked for him my work would probable rationalize out some of his workers, but technology was meant to free people of the need to work, not of the possibility to work, hope we get there someday. If no-one needed to work, we could have more dreamers, shapers, singers and makers, then humanity would be a race of scientists, artists and hippies. :D
