@Flash3-22 Change the laws to allow Dr's trained in other countries to be able to work here more easily. More providers will decrease waits and depress wages which will help cut costs. The fundamental issue the US medical system has that causes it to be so expensive is all the onerous regulations. More healthcare workers will breed competition and lead to better outcomes and lower prices. Additionally we need to threaten to massively cut patent protections for medical devices and drugs unless big healthcare companies agree to sell goods at the same prices other countries pay.

@Flash3-22 The way Obamacare works private insurance companies are required to spend 80-85 percent of the money they take in on actually medical care. That means admin/profit can only be 15-20. It's an admirable concept but it has created this horrible pharmacy benefit manager slushfund industry and has lead to overbilling. The more you bill/spend the more profit you can take. The best way to cut costs drastically is to drastically cut regulations and force states to follow the same regulatory framework for licensing. Additionally we need to aggressively investigate and prosecute serial coders. Finally we need to make Americans more healthy. If we do all that we could half medicare and Medicaid expenses.
