Glad he's only 48 years old. Imagine what he'll push his teams to accomplish in the next 30-40 years. He's literally the reason space is getting hyped up again. Now if Elon could just figure out a way to create fresh water from the oceans at a break even cost that is scalable. He gets a lot of hate because he has such fanatic followers, but there is literally no one else in our era who has taken two ridiculously ambitious, risky and "impossible" tasks and turned them into a success at this level. Launching rockets has been one of the hardest things in the world and now this guy has created a company that is able to do it like clockwork and taken a huge slice out of the cost with reusability.

I was standing at the Cape a few days before the launch of Apollo 13 with my Dad. I felt the same excitement these people now feel. Two years later we flew my buddy's dad's Cessna 172 at night up the Indian River and circled a relatively small restricted flight area surrounding Apollo 16. It was all lit up by many large lamps on the ground but we could see the ship from miles away at 2000 feet above sea level. Those were very fond memories of the Apollo space era in the early 1970s.

This is what a corporation should be an example of...providing better quality product..better quality to there Employees....implementing creative ideas of brighter future. Most corporations have leaders that are more focused in taking advantage of there own employees to stay profitable...using cheaper resource to create a product...not thinking of future..just too focused in $$$ instead of improving to go further into future.
