DECADES AGO AN INVENTOR DID JUST THIS BY CLAIMING THAT HE INVENTED A WAY TO USE WATER AS FUEL. ODDLY AND IRONICALLY HE WAS FOUND DEAD AND HIS NOTES FOR HIS IDEAS NEVER WERE FOUND. I WONDER WHICH OIL CEO HAD THIS DONE!!!

We all know compressed hydrogen alone is extremely dangerous, but there's another way to store hydrogen, by using Nickel-Metal-Hydride inside hydrogen compression tanks. The Metal-Hydride absorbs hydrogen making the hydrogen gas less dangerous. You also increase the capacity in which the hydrogen tank can take in. When decompressing, the Metal-Hydride slowly releases the hydrogen, so if you ever get into an accident and puncture the tank, it won't be as explosive as if it were just the hydrogen alone.

As the tech has improved, the viability has improved. This would be an AMAZING fuel source IF it works well enough. AND batteries are TERRIBLE for the planet.
