Someone watching this 2020: Snazaroo is not the best paint out there anymore. Use instead Diamond FX or PartyXplosion or Fusion or TAG. Much more brillant.

i recommend sponges and a lot of rounds, petal brushes, liner brushes and one or two special brushes you really like to use. experiment and enjoy. also baby wipes are an artists best friend when beginning!

i just got 3 snazaroo face paints today (white, grey and pink) i’m a cosplayer and was planning on using the pink and white as a very small touch to my madoka cosplay as i don’t have pink eyeshadow and blush alone won’t show up, i also might use the white and grey paints (even sometimes pink) because i’m into vkei styles and would love to try a full face instead of just eyes

I had to use cheap liquid pants for a stage show (the director, paying for the paint, insisted) and they cracked under stage lights and got all itchy and disgusting. It took us over an hour to get all the paint off after the show. Switched to TAG for the next nights show and it was fine. I wish he had watched this before buying paint! Definitely recommending your channel.

Hi Elsa. How are you? Thank you for sharing this video great tips for me as a beginner. I have to create a steampunk look for myself this Saturday and was wondering about mixing colours. Do you have any tips for mixing colours. I purchased the Snazaroo palette of paints and also a beige colour as I want to take down the starkness of the white colours a bit. Any tips you can pass on would be very welcome. I'm doing this for fancy dress night at our pub on Saturday. As I'm the landlady, I need to get it as good as I can 🙂

You can get over 50 designs from an 8 color mehron/paradise palette. Mehron/Paradise paint is almost all I use, I love it!

i need a really good tiny brush for my line work but i have tons of brushes. i do not use most of them. next get good white and black paint such as wolfe fx. it is soooo much better than snazaroo. and diamond fx is good to. i bought a pallette of various paint and while they were okay my global paints for 33 bucks was a godsend. full of six split cakes that I can do various designs with and have everything right there. if you are just starting out, try facepaint.com and pick a few paints. see which brand you like. dont forget sponges. they are life savers and pouncers as well. every design can start with circles. watch youtube videos and have fun!

I hate Snazaroo, other people I know and myself find it a nightmare to apply and hate the fact it rubs off so easily. As a cosplayer, I want a paint that will stick to my skin on for hours

Urmmmm....I got a face kit from Spirit Halloween and it has a tube of white cream paint that i absolutely need. And I CAN NOT use make up it makes me break out no matter what. I'm just wondering why they aren't very good.

Go to michaels and get white snazaroo face paint. Cream paints don't set very well and the quality of those halloween store paints is crap. Water activated paint, like snazaroo, sets immediately and will only come off with excessive rubbing and moisture.

How do you get body/face paint off of the brushes? I just used graftobian pro paint for the first time and can't get it off the brushes I used for the life of me. The brushes are just regular paint brushes from the craft store.

what I do is use hot water and bar soap in a cup and swirl the brushes around

regular dish soap or you can use fels naptha if the paint is still not coming out, you can mix 1 tsp olive oil with 1 tsp shampoo (any kind) stir it up completely it will because a white-ish color. this works very well, but dont do this more than once or twice a year as oil will break down the glue in your brushes and cause the bristles to fall out!
