Did anyone see Thom Bell hamming it up via cameo in the video? He co-wrote and produced it. The original version featured a duet with The Spinners and really stirred the Gospel pot! 🎧

The Spinners also sang background on “Mama Can’t Buy You Love”. He worked with them from 1972-1977. He also worked with the Delfonics, the Stylistics, Deniece Williams, James Ingram, and a bunch of other artists. His late brother Tony Bell is in this video and their dad is in this video as well.
