Sir Elton John, we can see by his eyes he was living the hardest time of his life and that sad situation was getting more and more absurd ( 1976 ) but after the overcome and with his strengh he still standing after all this time ( June 2020 ) blessings to him. The Rocket Man has been the soundtrack of my entire life since 1972.

Where on Earth did you find this wonderful Elton video?! The quality is SO GOOD and this live performance is super wonderful! I keep wanting to play this over and over - and I can't believe I'm watching a taped performance from 1976 - and at that time (1976) we most likely could never see this in the United states. back then,i was 16 working in a kawasaki shop in mt airy nc,andy griffins hometown,i feel in love with elton john music,my love for cat stevens knew no boundries,gay ?????? we had no idea in a nc southern town what gay was,what black was,what jewish was or what pedjuice was,we were pround of our southern history,we loved the rebel flag,we knew southerns did not die for slavery,why would a poor mand who raised corn next to his black friend there fight for plantation owners to have slaves ? it became a war against ignorant southerners,they believed,and crooked evil carpet baggers of the union

I was reading an article about Elton John and how his kids are worried about his age. Elton acknowledges that he doesn't know how much time he has left. We all need to understand eternity and the only thing we have to fear is the God who created everything including us. Fear of Him is the first sign of wisdom. The Word of God aka the Bible is the instruction manual for daily living. It is the infallible Word given to us by God. How can we live like we should if we don't read the books it contains? Our job is to keep the commandments and share the good news. If you don't know what that means read the book of Luke and then Mark in the Bible and get to know Jesus the Son of God. When I read Corinthians 6:9-11 it scared me into reality. Growing old and dying is not my biggest fear. It's knowing my behavior could keep me separated from God for all eternity. We all live forever and it's up to us to choose which eternity we want. God wants all of us with Him in Heaven but we have to read and apply the Word of God. Then we can get to know the Son of God. He is the only way to Heaven and live with the Creator for eternity. We have nothing to lose and everything to gain. This life is the rehearsal for the one-man show that starts when we die. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all things shall be added unto you.
