It was the first song recorded in a cassete that i gave my girlfriend 33 years ago. Now I am 57 and she passed away, she left last weekend. I miss her but I still have this song alive here with me. RIP Cassia.

This was his peak and will always ALWAYS be the definitive version. I always sang this song to my Jeri after she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. It would help her calm down and become "grounded." After she passed in 2018 I could not hear this song without crying. Even the first couple of cords would bring me to tears and I would have to quickly turn it off. My heart still hurts when I hear it. My eyes still shed tears when I hear it. It is a great song that brought her so much joy for me to sing to her (even though she would say I was a horrible singer, which I am). But I loved her so much that when I sang this song to her she knew just how much because it is all about love! I will sing this to my new granddaughter and she will know every time she hears it, her Grandma loves her so very much!
