Learning vocabulary is an essential part of improving in a language and if you don't recycle and reuse it, your learners will definitely forget what you've taught them. This simple, low tech idea will help you to do this in lots of useful ways- I've included five here!

Great idea. I am thinking of taking words from a newspaper article for my CPE group, putting them in the box, getting them to choose ay 5 and then make a news story or bulletin featuring that vocabulary.

This works a treat with classes! It's a good daily warmer. Also, if you are as lazy as I am, you can have a 'warm down' session at the end of the class where the students discuss which words to add to the box from the day's class AND create the cards. I usually limit them to 10 words 😄 Lovely video from Jo Gakonga!

I always struggle with vocabulary when I study a new language. These ideas are very nice! I really love the cards. I think that "manipulating" the language can be very helpful; moving the cards around, playing with them while discussing the vocab... It seems to help and students have fun. 😄 Thank you for yet another inspiring video. 🤩
