I found this song by chance, and it is one of my all time favorites since then. Thanks for the reaction!!

The hurdy-gurdy player recently left the band and formed her own, where she is also the lead singer. LYRRE - Divide and Conquer (Official Music Video)

Any information on who is replacing her?
@Mischnikvideos2 жыл бұрын
@@mikegershon8528 No, I haven't heard anything yet and she's still on the band photo on the homepage. But Michalina came out of nowhere. She was previously an unknown player who did covers of Eluveitie on KZbin.

I've heard of this band for years. They're so underrated. Not sure why they never made it to my playlist.🤔..well until now.😉

I am really looking forward to the next album. The first two songs are excellent, and it seems like they are really developing an important message for the upcoming album about restoring our spiritual connection to the world and recognizing that we are in fight for our very existence as a civilization. It's always based on ancient prophesies (which Chrigal was reciting at the beginning) but they're finding a way to make it relevant and meaningful for our world now.

There's a one take of Fabianne singing this on KZbin now by the way, really worth checking out! The chord progression in the chorus really is impressive and NOT easy to sing!

Great reaction, thanks. Agree with all you said. The folk section, wow, nobody does that quite like Eluveitie! Oh and Fabienne sounds great here too. Only 'complaints' - the guitar solo and song itself could've been a bit longer!
@Gutenberg19772 жыл бұрын
Fabienne sounds here like Anna Murphy. I f I close my eyes, I could not differenciate between them two, although I know Anna isn´t there. Fabi fits in like "die Faust aufs Auge".

Eluveitie is good ... But OH BOI is folk metal so much more than this It has everything from Mongolian throat singing to African traditional music you can headband to SO! for anyone who wants more folk metal from around the world Alien weaponry- New zealand (Maori/te reo metal) Wagakki band- Japanese (more folk rock than metal but still a banger band) The Hu- Mongolia Hassak- Kazakhstan (more of an ethno group but they wouldn't be out of place at any metal concert with songs Like "Amanat") Arka'n Asafokor- Togo Al Namrood- Saudi arabia (I know there are some badns from Egyp as well but IDK their names) Cemican Mexico Bloodywood- India Manntra- Croatia Percival-Poland Arkona-Russia
