Wow they re-created the whole set, everything in Australia. From the Louisiana Hayride, the Beale Street, Graceland, the International Hotel with all the details replicated. Plus the wardrobe from the 50s, 60s to the 70s not just the main characters Elvis, his parents, Princilla, Col. Tom Parker, other co-stars & even the extras. That was totally amazing. Truly deserve to get the Oscars. ❤👍👍👍

Edda Bindus I love the scences from Beale Street I have known this man's history since I was 11 years old, watched when he was on the Ed Sullivan show, watch all his movies, my favorite was Viva Las Vegas, saw him in Concert at 15 in San Diego and cried when he died. Austin Butler gave me the memory of Elvis Presley on screen reincarnation of the Love and his music to his fans. I truly miss him and his Beautiful smile.

First time an actor done Elvis justice when portraying him. AUSTIN CARED ABOUT THE FANS OF ELVIS. That’s why he became so loved. But that’s also why the Presley family loved him. Because it wasn’t something thrown together. He took time, he gave everything. To ensure the true Elvis was shown on screen. Thanks to that. There are now millions of people who have reconnected with Elvis but also millions who have became fans. I was born in 1994, at the age of 7, I watched Elvis for the very first time and I’ve been hooked the same way since then. So it’s nice to see FINALLY it’s been done RIGHT

Exactly the same here. I grew up in culture in Southern Indiana where to "ooh and aah" over Elvis was considered vulgar behavior for young girl, as his "gyrations" were vulgar as well. I am very thankful for this film to explain so many things and now...at 75...am a new fan!!!

I hope this film cleans up at the academy awards. It was brilliant in everything, from set design, to costumes, to story, to the acting performances themselves, and of course to direction. So many Oscars deserved here. However, Hollywood has a nasty habit of overlooking the best sometimes. This kid Austin Butler had better win the academy award for best actor, because although I love Tom Hanks, it was Austin's performance as Elvis that made this film. The film excels in so many ways but Austin's performance as the "KING "was in the stratosphere. Thats how incredibly brilliant this young man was. As someone else said "if he doesn't win for best actor, I'm starting a riot".

This woman, Catherine Martin, is amazing. Her work is beyond brilliant! Along with Butler, I really hope she gets to stand in Oscar's shining spotlight! I don't read near enough accolades for her work, but in this film, her work is second to none. I think she's just as amazing in her art as Butler is in his.

If you told me to pick from a lineup of actors who should play Elvis, this guy would have been near the bottom. But after seeing the movie, I couldn’t imagine anyone else playing him better. He resembles him in the oddest way, even though he doesn’t really look like Elvis! He truly embodied this character, give this man the Oscar!

Austin NAILED HIS PERFORMANCE!!!!! They did an incredible breathe taking job. I honestly get chills everytime I watch austin in this, it's almost unreal they way he was able to give such a raw and authentic performance. I've never seen anybody perform an actual non fiction person at the level austin was able to do it. Austin bud you were absolutely amazing in this film, so was olivia and Tom.

I do think Austin is very watchable. Catherine Martin said his eyes were catching people off guard, so mesmerizing. So they decided to have a light on his eyes in some scenes to get the sparkle effect I guess.

I also have seen it 5 times. I feel like I miss elvis and the whole crew when I leave the theater. What's going on? One, we love elvis and Austin did a great job but now we are mesmerized by Austin being able to do it. Frankly I am shocked. Everyone likes Austin butler. I remember Brad Pitt getting the treatment, Leo and even Matthew McConaughey. However I never went back twice to see any of them in a freakin movie. Lololol.
